Arianna Hernandez
Arianna was introduced to the viewers as a waitress at The Brady Pub.
On the outs with her brother Rafe, shortly after arriving in Salem, she ran into him at the pier, fences were mended, and the two began being a part of each other lives again, despite the fact that she did not like his girlfriend, Sami Brady.
Shortly after, Arianna met Brady Black. Brady began to pursue Arianna but she kept telling him that she had dated drug addicts before and didn't want to go that route again, despite Brady's protestations that he had been clean for more then a year. Finally, one night Brady convinced her to stop by the Kiriakis Mansion where they had a late night swim. This was the beginning of their romance.
Eventually it was revealed to us that Arianna was in fact in Salem because she had been in jail for drug trafficking, and as conditions of her release she was undercover for the police to try to put a stop to drug distribution in Salem.
Eventually, Victor Kiriakis, who was the drug kingpin, found out that Arianna was one of his dealers & sold his portion of the business to EJ DiMera. He confronted Arianna with being a drug dealer and forced her to break up with Brady, who was not able to let it go and chased after Arianna. Eventually Victor told Brady that she was a drug dealer, but Brady didn't believe him so he confronted Arianna. She told him she was undercover for Roman Brady and the Salem PD as part of her release from jail. Brady was forgiving and tried to help her with her mission to find the kingpin.
Not long after, EJ sent one of his minions after Arianna, and Brady walked in on the situation at the Brady Pub, had the guy arrested for attempted murder. Her cover blown, she was relieved of duty, however was not sent back to jail.
Brady and Arianna got engaged, but she couldn't let go about Brady's ex, Nicole Walker. Convinced that he was still in love with Nicole, she constantly bringing her name up. When Brady and Arianna flew to Santo Domingo to get married, Nicole, who had been pardoned from jail, showed up, begged Brady to forgive her and give her another chance. Conveniently, a hurricane blew through Santo Domingo and the wedding was canceled and everyone returned to Salem.
Arianna left her job at the Pub, to work for Titan TV, as assistant to street reporter Nicole. Shortly after, Nicole framed Arianna for the Salem Muggings, with the help of Dr. Baker. They were successful, Arianna was arrested and sent to prison. EJ DiMera soon signed on to be her lawyer. This caused a rift between Arianna and Brady and they broke up while she was in jail. She didn't think that he believed that she was innocent even though he insisted that he believed her. Eventually, Hope Brady confessed to the crimes and Arianna was exonerated.
Upon being released from prison, Arianna ran into more trouble when she overheard Sami confessing to shooting EJ DiMera in the head. She got into an argument with her brother, Rafe, as she insisted that Sami pay for what she had done, then insisted EJ deserved to know that Sami shot him. Sami ended up confessing to Arianna in an attempt to get her to change her mind and not tell EJ that it was her. Unbeknownst to Sami, Arianna recorded the confession and was going to show EJ the video when she ran into Will at the Brady Pub. He tried to convince her not to say anything to EJ and when EJ walked up on them, Arianna ran out into the street, only to be hit by a car. A few days later, she died from complications from the hit and run, with the whereabouts of the video unknown to everyone. A memorial service was held at the Pub, with Justin Kiriakis appearing at the end, announcing he was Arianna's lawyer, and executor of her will.
