Lisa Loring (original Wednesday Addams) has died

Sad news to hear that actress Lisa Loring has died from complications after having a stroke.

Some of you may also remember her from playing Cricket Montgomery on As the World Turns from 1980 to 1983.

I had the pleasure of meeting her about 15 years ago. She was very kind and sweet-natured. She was also very passionate about preserving the legacy of the original show.

RIP Lisa Loring.

Lisa Loring, Original Wednesday Actress on ‘The Addams Family,’ Dies at 64

Loring also played Wednesday Addams in the 1977 television movie 'Halloween With the New Addams Family' and had a recurring role in the series 'As the World Turns.'

The new Wednesday Addams show on Netflix blew up on social media due to Wednesday's dance moves. But here's a video of the original Wednesday dancing. She had some moves. So did Lurch.

Oh wow. I was just talking about her with my girls recently because they loved the new Netflix show Wednesday.

It's too bad they weren't able to have her do a cameo on the new Wednesday show. I saw that they have Christina Ricci (who played Wednesday in the Addams Family movies in 1991 and 1993) on the new show.
