Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) 50th Anniversary

The wording of that is strange to me. Isn't the entire cast going to celebrate the anniversary? It makes it sound like she is sitting by herself thinking about the last 50 years. I know the timing sucks, considering the other major event this week, but I hope she gets some real attention.

Sort of difficult for everyone to be celebrating something for Maggie, while mourning her husband Victor. Don't know what's in store, but I can imagine all the various ideas on ways to handle both at same time, while paying homage to the actors & the characters. Had to be time consuming and I bet whatever was final decisions, no one was actually satisfied.

Would've been better to have some sort of celebration of Maggie, even if it was a planned party where the Salemites were getting ready for it and reminiscing about Maggie's history, then when it came time for the actual party, finding out Victor had died while taking a nap before the party. Or if they wanted to stick with the plane crash story, say that the plane went down on his way back to Maggie's party. Then they could've went into honoring John Aniston's (Victor) time on the show.
Oh well, hopefully they show a lot of nice clips from the past of both Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) and John Aniston (Victor).

Here's a look at the first two "Days of Our Lives" scripts of Suzanne Rogers (Maggie). Episode # 1946, which aired August 20, 1973 and Episode # 1948, which aired August 22, 1973. For those reading along who may not know, at the time Mickey Horton had amnesia when he met Maggie.
