Ben and Ciara break up!

Eric and Sarah continue to grow closer... but are interrupted by an unexpected return Rex
JJ learns Haley has a secret connection to someone else in town.
 
Agree with Lil0...did the same. What the heck would be Hope's motive for wanting Ted to rep Stefan? Ted is a shrewd lawyer, a better one than Justin. Why not ask Justin?? Or just let a public defender handle it. (Stefan already mentioned having his attorney draw up those custody papers for Charlotte, so he has someone.....what the heck?
 
Hope----Ted-----Stefan?????

Didn't Ted go into hiding because Stefan wanted him dead? or dismembered (same thing but more fun to say) or just disappeared??????
Lord knows I'd want to work for someone who felt that way about me...... so WHAT???

Hope pressures Stefan to turn on Ben.

TUESDAY, 1/8/19
Abigail and Ciara have a heart-to-heart about Ben.

WEDNESDAY, 1/9/19
Ciara gets Claire to confess her and Ben's deception.

THURSDAY, 1/10/19
JJ realizes Haley is keeping something from Kayla.
Eve finds Chloe comforting Brady.

FRIDAY, 1/11/19
Chad surprises Abigail with a special dinner with her family.
 
Monday January 7:
Jack runs into Kayla and discovers a dark moment from his past. [Pity poor Jack. There's no rest for the weary. He's hardly back in town before he encounters unpleasantness.]
Hope pressures Stefan to turn on Ben. [Hope better rethink her anti-Ben campaign. If young Mr. Weston ever went to trial, a smart defense attorney would drag Hope to the witness stand and grill her about all the unethical/illegal things she's done to bring Ben down.]

Tuesday January 8:
Hope persuades Ted to represent Stefan. [How low can she go? Hope has no business involving herself in McPerv's legal affairs.]

Wednesday January 9:
Leo meets Xander for the first time - and is immediately smitten. [If it's Xander in a towel, Leo probably will have a heart attack.]

Thursday January 10:
Ben and Ciara break up! [Pity poor Ben. Things are pretty bad when only Slimy O. McGrime will give him a break.]
Eve finds Chloe comforting Brady. [Eve should just give it up and go away. Nobody's interested in her litany of grievances and tale of woe. In fact showing up at Doug's Place in that ridiculous vampire's cape should make her the laughingstock of Salem.]

Friday January 11:
Eric and Sarah continue to grow closer... but are interrupted by an unexpected return Rex. [Either Rexy is addicted to Brady Burgers, chowder, Wanchai Ferry, or EJ Chow, or he's a glutton for punishment. Every time he comes to town, all he gets is grief from big-mouth Sarah.]

Could Haley be a long lost daughter of John Black? You would think Paul might have mentioned her. Oh but then the writers like to pretend they pay attention to detail and history.

I would be extremely disappointed if Haley would turn out to be related to John. Too many Salemites - new characters- turn out to be the spawn of someone in town. Usually unknown, and it is overkill already.

I know those who have watched from Day 1 would name more, even I perhaps have forgotten some, but Daniel, Melanie, Chelsea, Austin, Billie, Tate, Stefan, Andre, Chad, Paul, Chloe, Stefan, (and Stefano's older children now deceased), Rex, Cassie..............And a few whose parentage was changed at some point, like, Mike Horton, Bo, Charlotte, Thomas,
