Since we know from interviews that Will is alive and well somewhere, it would seem either his memory is impaired or he's being held captive. Otherwise, you'd think he'd have come back to Salem to say his death "didn't take".

Maybe he's off somewhere, thinking he's John Black, due to a serious mix up in Rolf's lab. :rotfl:

It would be funny to see Will acting like RoboJohn.

Or perhaps he's is taking a sabbatical to really fine tune his writing skills being that he is SUCH an AMAZING writer with two exposes under his belt.

I can't wait for the next scandalous article written by Will Horton entitled, "TOY TRUCK OR TEDDY BEAR: YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT TOY THOMAS WILL CHOOSE"!!!

Perhaps he's being held in a DiMera dungeon, being forced to write their press releases that make people forget that the company was founded by a murdering drug-runner.
Surely, the DiMeras want their press releases to be written in grammatical English.

And trying to convince the board that murderous Andre is now a cuddly-wuddly guy.
This might be dangerous. The half-literate Will might use a double negative, meaning that the board will be told that Andre is a deranged lunatic. E.g., "Andre DiMera isn't not a crazy man."

Who knows, perhaps after Rolf revived Will, he began reading this board and realized that Salem is 100% dysfunctional and decided that Sonny is really a power-mad, hyper-ambitious Big Boy hamburger kid look-alike who isn't wasn't worth returning to. Instead, he changed his name and took up one of the following occupations: studying for a journalism degree and trying to learn how to really write, working on an Alaskan crab-fishing boat, fighting wildfires in California, went to the Culinary Institute of America and is now a four-star chef, or is tending bar in the Cayman Islands,

I'm not sure this matters. The "Board" only exists as a matter of convenience for the show's writers, to create momentary grist in the DiMansion living room. I'm not sure anyone who would be on the "Board" of a company like DiMera Enterprises would bother to look at the press releases anyway. But I'm sure the company would still issue them.
