Beginning August 24th, POP TV will be showing same day episodes of Days....in the evening. Check your cable/sattelite systems for time. It will follow right after Bold & Beautiful, then Young & Restless, then Days.
On Direct TV, it is channel 273. I think it may be coming on at 7 p.m. Central. That would be 8 p.m. Eastern, and 5 p.m. Pacific.

Pop is an American basic cable and satellite television network that is operated as a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Lions Gate Entertainment.

I think it takes the place of the TVGuide Network (which was purchased by Lionsgate)

Interesting. Lionsgate also produces DVDs. They've been releasing uncut DVDs of Little House On The Prairie over the past year in response to fan complaints.

All I meant is that it wasn't a brand new channel launched elsewhere on cable. But it's pretty much the same channel though (even though different ownership). I haven't noticed much difference in programming.

This deal boggles my mind because POP is owned by CBS and Lions gate. DAYS is affiliated with NBC and Sony and owned by Corday Productions. How was this possible?

Looked on my cable listings. It said I do not get this channel. lol I guess not even with an upgrade. I will continue to use Youtube if I miss an episode. Hulu doesn't put in on till the next day . At least the last time I checked. Funny GH gets put on by 7 pm usually.

I just checked, had to "add" the channel to my favorites!! Now to see what happens next Monday as it definitely is posted there right after Y&R!! I'm never surprised any more, it could, for all I know, be "blacked out" just like a local baseball game. Only a couple of days to go to see, meanwhile, I continue to record daily.
