Yeah, I'm at a loss as to why they decided to bring Ava back. This makes absolutely no sense. There's no way Steve would fall for her schemes again after what happened before. I love Tamara Braun (Ava) but this is about the most useless return of a character I've seen.

It doesn't say Steve falls for Ava. I am pretty sure this is just so Steve can save Kayla, but also pretty sure this is deceptive. If Steve can find Bo when no else could, he can certainly fool Ava into giving up Kayla. At least I sure hope so.

I don't understand why Kayla isn't reported missing to the Salem PD? Not that anyone there has enough brains to do anything about it, but just the report at least let's it be known to authority that something is wrong. And why can't Steve look for Kayla as efficiently as he is looking for a baby that may or may not exist.

2 months ago Steve quickly located Bo, but can't find Kayla now? This is just a very strange, very gross, very ridiculous story.

Now how many days has it been since Kayla is missing? Wouldn't you think someone at the hospital would be curious, as to how Kayla made out at the meeting she went to? Kayla's schedule at the hospital and Kayla a no show? Again, the writers are not thinking out of the box, only in the box. So ridiculous. Ava should have been dragged immediately to the police station, as I have posted before. What a waste for a storyline. ShaSha

When Steve had the hunch something was off about no one hearing from Bo, it was Caroline's visions that sent him to where he eventually found Bo. The only other vision she has had was of Victor having a heart attack......but, as it turned out, Victor was faking it. So, guess no visions for Kayla.
But I agree 100% that the hospital should be wondering about her.
After all, when she did not show up for that Donor board, then the hospital would have been contacted. The hospital has a board, an office staff, etc. People are tending to "business" in her absence. So, the fact that she did not show up there, and no one is able to contact her should be very apparent.
But....just because we all think normally, doesn't mean Salemites do.

I think it's a tie with Kristen's 2014 return when all she did was have scenes with Daniel. But I think the reason Ava is back is because she is one of Dena Higley's favorites.

Poirot, that's another thing. Caroline has had so many visions of the people she loves, but we have not seen one for Kayla. Surely that would be a good the way to find Kayla. Go straight to Roman and approach Steve. ShaSha
