Watching today's show has me speculating. There was a spoiler or something about extras in institutional clothes? Now I am wondering if Abby has a nervous breakdown, like grandma Laura did. That could be how they switch Abbys. And maybe Abby runs into Jack! Jack and Abby could come back to Salem together, but nah they would never reuse a story line. (wishful thinking on my part, as I am guessing Jack is only back as a ghost in Jen's dreams).

Unless Jennifer is using the pain pills so much she sees Jack.

That could be. Abby had her obsession with Austin, then Chad faking the brain tumor (or was it the other way around) and then her affair with EJ, and Sami confronting her, then the Ben stuff, and now they could throw in postpartum and a pill popping mom if they wanted. I would say she has earned a breakdown.

Would love it if Jack were an amnesiac working at the mental health institution and Abby encounters him.

I also feel either Abby has a mental breakdown about Ben like Laura had a breakdown over Bill's affair. Or she gets kidnapped by Ben, replacing the actress months later.

Having a breakdown doesn't make you any less strong, once you get help. Given everything Abigail has been through, I think "strong" is a decent description.

Perhaps Ben has a successful barbecue this time and Abby survives but needs plastic surgery. Typical soap story. Could also work into a mental breakdown.

It WAS a nightgown.......she was going to put it on but found it cut up.

I think Abby is losing it. Let's hope the writers bring in Laura Horton, as more than likely can be genetic.

Perhaps this is why they cancelled the Eve drugging Jenn storyline. To make her crazy. This might be the route there going and I like this better. Mainly cause we DON'T know, nor does Abby LOL! Great!

The storyline with Eve drugging Jennifer was scrapped long before Abby's exit storyline was written.

Giving Abby a total breakdown wouldn't be at all farfetched at this point. It would definitely be a good way to bring back a different actress in the role.

Yesterday, Monday, 3/28/16, was one of the best episodes ever! Abby in the creepy mansion, a raging thunderstorm, questioning her sanity - and a crazed killer on the loose! It was almost a "Dark Shadows" moment! With the ending of the show, it will be interesting to see if her encounter with Ben is real or in her mind. Good show!
