Good morning. Guess it is no longer morning for some of you. I was awakened this morning by thumps and bumps. Calves at play up around my house again. They are so cute. A nice way to start the day with smiles. Not much going on here. It will be mid-80s*, a warm but pleasant day. I'm working on some things in the house again. Hope everyone is okay.

Holy cow, good afternoon..can it be already? Cloudy & overcast here, light snow dusting during the night, tis 33 right now.

I got so aggravated trying unsuccessfully to clear my desk area (My son gifted me with a new hard drive with Windows 10, one that is made from scratch, so I bought a monitor & keyboard, and need to make enough room on this small area, so I can transfer things over from this oldie to the newbie. Especially all the work stuff. LOL

So, I bought a storage container from WalMart, will just put everything in there, so I have enough room to do what I have to do. One trouble is.......want to know how many floppy disks I have from my old, discarded Macs? And the Gateway PC?

Sure hate how the companies upgrade so much that nothing you have works with the newer stuff. Grrrr.

I just heard on radio that a 32 yr. old couple from Boston had gone to Banff up in Canada on vacation, and when they did not check out as expected, their room was checked, empty. Were last seen last Sat. having breakfast in the hotel. Turns out they had gone snowshoeing in the park, no idea what happened, but their bodies were found in deep snow there. Avalanche.

That is what worries me about Muzza hiking in those parks in winter.

Afternoon all.... overslept this morning.... just made it to class.... eek..... then home to eat breakfast/brunch... and now to the botanical garden as they are having a plant sale and I might see something I can't live without....

What a terrible story about the Boston Couple......

But what a cute story of calves....

Happy Saturday.....

A sunny day and warm day here. No time to be outside today. Things to
do inside and Sunday school supper later this afternoon. We eat and then
play Mexican dominoes.

I hope everyone has a good rest of the day and weekend.

Good afternoon,

We are all so late today.:). It definitely is a Saturday...I slept in and have been lazy all morning.

No special activities planned. A late night celebrating being a quarter Irish.:wine:

Take care everyone.

O: love the idea of waking up to calves playing outside your window.

Poirot: good luck re-organizing your study. A new computer us great after everything is transferred onto the hard drive.

Robin: enjoy class and plant shopping. My eyes stared at your brothers snowy patio. It is going to be 95 and I struggle to not turn on the air conditioning!

Kat: enjoy your class supper and domino games.

Good evening everyone. I didn't get anything accomplished today except for baking cranberry/white chocolate chip biscotti.

I'm now watching Manchester By the Sea. I hope it gets better because the first 20 minutes have been boring.

That's so sad about the couple caught in the avalanche.
