SPOILER !! Exit list to grow

Sorry, RS....but being Deimos is around for a while yet, that is unlikely as the reason. Wonder if he takes the fall for Chad? Or perhaps Deimos accuses him of doing something Deimos himself did????
 
There was nothing official, but there were rumors for awhile that he was out.

I hope they find a way to write around Nadia Bjorlin's (Chloe) pregnancy to keep the actress on the show. After Arianne Zucker (Nicole) leaves, we have no other females in that age group around unless they bring Belle back. However, they need more than a couple of characters in the 30s to early 40s age group to pair up with the men on the show in that age group.
 
I would like to have new characters added to bring fresh stories with the existing characters, but the show has had difficulty in casting 30 to 40 something female characters in the last few years. Madison, Arianna (senior), Jordan, Serena, and Summer were all new characters that were introduced but failed to make an impression on the show. Every one of the actresses were well known and popular on other shows. We need characters like Chloe and Belle that people know and love and then slowly introduce new characters to the canvas.

If they would quit throwing egg babies at Maggie and bring back her actual daughter, Sarah Horton, she would be a good addition to the show. They could even cast Melissa Archer (ex-Serena) to play her, which is the character she should have been playing in the first place.

Totally agree with the idea of bringing back some folks. Like perhaps a new and revamped Jeremy Horton, and perhaps is Dad and Grandfather.

But more than anything else I'd love to see some better written stories. But I'm guessing that in the next few months will be terribly disjointed as the new folks try to change the course of some things and limit other storylines.

I don't like spoiling exits too early, so if other outlets don't report the news, then I usually keep mum. Or, as I did in this thread, I just did a general tease that some cuts would be coming, but didn't single anyone out. I was surprised it didn't come out until today either.
 
LOL, well, who knows about clauses in contracts, or punishments if word gets out. ??

What I have noticed is that A Martinez (Eduardo) has said nothing in his tweets about working, or Days, or even Longmire. And he does not tweet much at all. But also, there have been no backstage pics, etc. Am pretty sure his contract was up, or he asked to go on recurring some time ago.

Ever since Days' credits at the end are so tiny, and roll quickly under previews of prime time shows, hard to read, keep track.
 
Jason, are those appearance dates, or contract dates? Because I see Drake Hogestyn (John) listed as in the credits Feb. '17, removed March, '17, and we have not seen him at all. ???

Plus a few other odd ones. Like Kassie dePaiva (Eve) added in Jan., removed in Feb. 2017

Maybe she was seen, & it has slipped my mind????
 
Eve was last seen when she came to the K-Mansion to help Brady take care of Tate. Then the actress was diagnosed with the leukemia and not seen again. Brady made a brief comment that she went back to New York.
 
Yes, I know. I wondered if Jason knew why she was in the credits this year.

Kassie DePaiva (Eve) signed a contract, then had to leave. In addition to what aired, she also taped several more episodes which they cut since it wouldn't have made sense in the storyline if those had aired. Drake Hogestyn (John) was briefly removed from the credits and I guess is on a new contract now, so his name is now at the end of the contract list. The dates listed are the airdates of the episodes. I check the credits on the first episode which airs them each month and then post the list to the site. So, when the credits run next week for the first time in April, Drake's name will be added again.
