Intense, emotional, with a great deal of discord today. Sami has waited a long time to face the scumbag sitting before her, she says. She is nasty, vicious, threatening as she talks about her son, and what Ben did. She has his gag taken off, Ben thinks people will be looking for him, she claims no one knows he is gone, brags about having resources/people at her beck & call as she is a DiMera, pays them well to do…….things out of the ordinary. She orders the thugs to leave, pulls a gun, snaps off the safety, and tells them phase 2 is next. She hassles Ben some more, then throws a duffle bag at him, he will need this. She backs out of the room, still holding the gun on him

Replay of Will coming upon Lucas on the bench asleep, taking the bottle from him. Lucas wakes, but starts yelling at the ghost to leave him alone, go away, he is dead, etc. Will grabs Lucas’s hand on the bottle, asks if that feels real. Lucas has all these mixed emotions, are you real, he feels Will’s face, Will says yes, I am alive. Lucas grabs him, crying, thank you, God, thank you, God, he is hugging, won’t let go. (and this brought tears to my eyes, truly). Will gently and quietly explains how he doesn’t remember him, but has seen a picture, quickly adding he has seen his two grandmothers, his daughter, doesn’t remember them either. Lucas brings up something from the past, but Will shakes his head.

Now behind them, creeping up, are the two thugs, wearing ski masks. Amazing that no one in the square noticed them, but one grabs Will, the other conking Lucas on the head, down he goes.

Chloe finds him on the bench, gets him to come to, Lucas is babbling about Will being kidnapped, call police, Chloe thinks he is being delusional again, refuses to believe him. He takes off.

Chad is throwing out Andre, Kate & Abby both have arrived. Abby tries to talk Chad out of it, they really do not have any proof of anything, but Chad has all the proof he needs. He berates Andre, going on and on about Theo being hurt, Andre using the right words to reel Theo in……help save the company”. He tells Andre to pack his bags, get out of his house, and storms out. Abby figures he is just overwrought, will go talk to him, and leaves. Andre cannot believe this, would never do anything to put Theo in danger. Kate believes him. He thanks her, but she says, I know you are not guilty. Because I am. I am the one who called Theo.

Rafe & Hope are “discussing” his accepting the commissioner job from Abe, she is clearly not happy about it, despite him saying repeatedly it is only temporary. They go back and forth, JJ, Theo, what happened. She accuses him of questioning all her decisions, he denies, but says sure, they don’t agree on everything, never have. Voices are never raised, but she makes a crack about him going to Memphis with his ex-wife, he takes umbrage, she knows they had just found the empty grave, and actually did find Will. But he notes she could have just said Sami, or Bo’s niece, but pointedly said “ex-wife”..More arguing, she refers to herself as his fiance’, he notes that yes, she has been that for quite a while now, he thought by this time, she would be his wife. So, can she be honest now? Why is it they are not married, maybe she doesn’t want to be married.
Hope looks at him, maybe you’re right, maybe I don’t want to be married.

Marlena fills John in on all she tried with Will, but how he doesn’t remember a thing. He sees the book, glances at it, she talks of the research, they get to the part about perhaps experiencing the same trauma that caused memory loss, happening again, and perhaps bringing it back. She says it means like a concussion, and then another fall has the memory return. In Will’s case, not possible, his trauma was being strangled. She is worried about Sami, doing something drastic, so impatient. Calls her, Sami doesn’t want to answer, but does, pretending to agree with her mom about taking it easy. She claims she wants to be alone tonight, but calm down, etc.

Marlena hangs up, a bit relieved. John is sure all will be o.k. they nuzzle a bit on the sofa, she wonders why Will is taking so long, oops, there he is at the door. She opens to find Lucas, crying help me, help me, they took Will, hit me over the head, kidnapped Will.

And over in that creepy, darkened apt, Will is on the floor, unconscious, comes to, scrambles up, tries to get out the door, but it is locked. Those neon lights blink green, red. Ben comes out of another room, Will asks who are you. Benjamin, replies Ben. (Gosh this guy is creepy, scary good!). Will is backing away, as Ben twists a red tie in his hands. Then attacks Will, they are on the floor. Ben is flashing back at times to when he first did this to Will, and then current. Will is struggling, fighting back, Ben is seemingly merciless. And all the while, Sami watches thru the door, gun in hand, seeing her son being strangled with a tie, a tear in her eye.

How Sami could watch this and not stop it is beyond me. These scenes are well done, but it did seem like Ben was successful????

Thank goodness for some loving scenes with John & Marlena, as otherwise the entire show had angry people, saying hurtful and nasty things.

I can’t accept a parent putting their child through reliving being strangled (to death) to restore his memory.

Whether it works or not, Sami has proven herself to be a sadistic, hateful, brutal, selfish, evil, monster. If, by chance, Will regains his memory, I hope he nails Mommy Dearest to the wall.

Thank you, Poirot.

Sami has done some awful things through the years, but having her son tortured is the lowest of the low for me. I don't care what her reasoning is or even if it works. It is just plain sick.
It will be interesting to see Will's reaction if he finds out Sami set this up.

Oh, poor Lucas ! He finally finds his son (or rather Will finds him) only to have him taken away moments later. Thank goodness he turned to John and Marlena for help.
I wonder if we'll see when Chloe finds out that Will is alive, and if she regrets her decision not to believe Lucas.

Honestly, I cannot get over this. Sami would put her son thru all of this horror, so he will remember HER! Sami's idea of love is definitely warped, it would be fitting if she was shunned by family after this. And if this actually brings back Will's memories, I hope he tells her he never wants to talk to her, or even see her again. Heck, I hope that even if his memories don't return.

To think a mother would hire people to kidnap the psycho killer of her son, in order to do it again, even providing him with the red tie to do it. Oh, sure, stop short of doing him in, huh? Ben could easily choke the life out of Will before Sami could pull that trigger, or the goons burst in to take him down. What is wrong with her, her thinking.

And how would she explain this to Lucas........who, as far as she knows, doesn't even know Will is/was alive?

Sami needs serious therapy.

While I hate what Psycho Sami is doing to Will right now, I did enjoy the way she talked to Ben before it all started. I thought it was funny when she was lecturing Ben about how cushy the sanitarium was with his cozy slippers and artwork therapy, but got interrupted, then said "wait, where was I?" and the DiMera goon said "artwork" and she picked up where she left off.

WOW, we got a Horton the Tiger mention today! (when Lucas was telling Will about the camping trip where Horton tried to kill them)

:sick::eek::eek:Sami: Her felonies keep piling up. Today, she added menacing Ben with a deadly weapon and kidnapping Will. She's also criminally liable for her thugs' assault on poor Lucas and Ben's assault on Will. And considering all the awful things she's done in her life, her self-righteous tone with Ben rang more than hollow . Finally, Marlena and John might have gagged over her bragging about being a DiMera. Wasn't all her endless blather about how EJ had "changed" bad enough?

:angry:Stone Cold Chad: His rush to judgment about Andre despite Abigail's pleas will come back to haunt him. Wherever he is, the mighty Phoenix must be shaking his head.

:sick:Hope & Rafe; Please make them stop. They're starting to make Kate and Andre look like a happy couple in comparison.

:clap:Abigail: With lunacy breaking out all over Salem, it was good to see her emerge as the voice of reason at the dysfunctional DiMansion. This is quite a change from her often irrational past at Bayview (where Sami arguably now belongs) and Jenny's attic.

Sami keeps getting more outrageous and revealing how selfish she really is. If Will finds out Sami orchestrated this, I imagine he will never forgive her and never let her be a part of his life or his daughter's. Sami will never be welcome in Salem again. And I will be ok with that.

Thanks, Poirot.

Finally, Lucas knows Will is really, truly alive and not a ghost. Interesting
to see Chloe stop to help him, but didn't believe he actually saw Will
and not a another hallucination.

I wonder if John and Marlena will put two and two together and figure
out who took Will and where he might be?

I hope seeing Will will finally sober up Lucas.

What will Andre do now because Kate confessed to him? Will he tell
Chad or
be Kate's knight in shining (dull) armor?

Hope and Rafe. So Rafe left Salem and went to Memphis without
telling Hope or
anyone in the police dept? What is the reason Hope won't marry Rafe? Should
we even care? It's Salem. Together today, broken up tomorrow.

Sami, there are no words for what she's having Ben do to Will. Will
Will remember? Will Ben kill him again? Should we stay tuned?

Sami has done some horrific stuff through the years but this is the lowest of the low. I've always thought she was a fairly decent mom up until this current visit. I really hope Will finds out and goes off on her. I want John and Marlena to do the same. And Eric and Lucas. I didn't enjoy watching Will get murdered when it first happened. I didn't enjoy it today either.

And no Sami, YOU ARE NOT A DIMERA!

Throw water over me. I liked the Rafe/Hope scenes today. I've thought they had pretty good writing this week and the acting today was great too. I liked how they were both calling each other out on stuff and it was stuff that actually made sense. I do want Abe to suffer some consequences here as well. No way should Hope be friendly with him anytime soon.

Nice to see pop up Chloe.

John and Marlena were cute. Though I wish people wouldn't sit around at home fully dressed for work.

Abby defending Andre again? Please. If they needed to create angst for Chad and Abby, they should have had Abby work at The Spectator and write an expose about Dimera Enterprises.

Watching today's episode I had to wonder what Sami thought the outcome of her little stunt was going to be other then maybe shaking some of Will's memories loose. I have to wonder if she imagines this little scenario:

The Brady family is sitting around the Thanksgiving turkey a couple of years down the road and everybody is remembering the good times and bad times they've over come and Sami turns to Will and says:

Sami: Do you remember that time we all thought you were dead because Ben Westin tried to strangle you?

Will: Oh yeah, and I was living in Memphis with Susan Banks because I amnesia?

Sami *nods*: She had brainwashed you into believing you were really E.J. But remember how when you came back Salem and you couldn't even remember Arianna? The two of them turn and look at Ari whose sitting next to Gabi and smile.

Will: That was a tough one all right. But then remember how you broke Ben out of the asylum so he could reinact the night he attacked me to jog my memory?

There's a moment of uncomfortable silence then slowly everybody breaks into uproarious laughter over that Samantha Jean and her shaniganans.

*end scene*

Will & Lucas's scenes were GOLD. Emmy® competition=fierce.

Sami can die any minute now and it'd be 10 years too late for me.

With that, all the DiMeras and their plot-convenience powers can blow up and I'd be a happy camper. Kate needs payback, Chad needs to check himself, and Thomas is just a Dork-mera in the making.

Wow today was intense. Did enjoy Rafe and Hope fighting. I hope it's the beginning of the end.

Lucas and Will were great. But really? Salem is a small town. Hasn't Will being alive spread like wildfire? I was surprised Chloe didn't know.

Kate isn't actually going to confess to Andre is she?

While it appears Sami's little stunt may have the desired result, I cannot imagine putting my child through that. Intense stuff.

I do not agree with Sami's actions at all, but I do love the character. Maybe this will return Will's memory, but she will be shunned by him and everyone else, leading her to become the new "Stefano Dimera."

That would be an interesting turn of events. A way to keep her offscreen yet recurring (pleasing those who enjoy her character and those who do not, while filling a much needed space in the storyline), still pulling strings to get "revenge" on everyone, kind of like how Stefano popped in and out through the years but was always behind most everything.

Interesting idea, but I doubt that would work, as Sami is much too impulsive, not ever thinking things through, while a good villain plans in advance, thinks of ways to avoid various outcomes from what they want. Would rather Clyde, or Ben, or even Xander would come along. Actually, I liked when some villain arrived, created havoc for some months, and then was dispatched. I don't like, no matter how good the actor, the villain being dead and returning alive to do it again. I resented Stefano for that very reason. Eventually, he decided to stay in Salem. Don't mind villains escaping and then showing up again, but....

As to Sami, I used to really like the character, but whatever it was, that changed before she left the show. Her returns have not changed my feelings, in fact, just reinforced them. And this latest stunt sealed it.
