Sigh, a very boring and moronic sci-fi show. The only thing I enjoyed was Paul and Andrew. Which is saying a lot, because I didn't even know their background until yesterday. But, here it is:
Kate opens the door to Bo, is happy to see him, can't believe he's alive, he confirms he has been trapped there for a long time. Kate insists they leave, Bo stalls and says they need to go out the way Megan is, Kate says she knocked Megan out, back and forth. Eventually they go into Megan's room, Bo says they need the keys but checks on Megan, Kate says to forget her as they need to save Marlena and Kayla.
Bo awakens Megan, says Kate found out she has been played, they laugh, make fun of Kate being shocked. Bo says she wouldn't stop talking earlier, points a gun at Kate to stop her from leaving. Kate tries reasoning with Bo, but Megan tells him not to trust Kate. Kate reminds him of how he married her daughter, she married his dad, they've been family for years. Megan encourages Bo to ignore her and he cocks his gun, she talks about beginning phase 2.
Kate says they can be free and leave, go back to Salem. Kate and Megan argue about the serum and how Kate should be grateful. Megan starts looking for the vial and Kate finds it, picks it up. Bo demands she hand it over, Megan says Bo will kill her, won't listen to her speeches. Back and forth, Megan says their kinship is over. Kate agrees, but drops the vial, refuses to be her guinea pig. Megan says that was stupid, the only reason she let Kate live was to be experimented on, orders Bo to kill Kate.
John and Steve open the door to Hope, shocked to see her, says she got intel from friends in high places when they ask. They tell their tale of the ISA and how they came to avenge Kate's, Marlena's and Kayla's deaths, she is so sorry to hear. Hope says this all began with Megan's obsession with Bo. Hope has been tracking her, they can now work together. Hope goes over the high school history of Megan's mom and Megan's relationship with Bo. They don't know Megan's location, wonder if they're at a dead end but Steve is determined. Hope thinks she knows how to find Megan.
Shawn-D leaves a message for Hope when Belle walks into the station. They talk about Megan and how she was supposed to be dead for 4 decades, Shawn-D thinks Black Patch will catch her. She is so upset about the pain her family is going through, he understands. Ciara and Ben are away, as is Hope and he is still sad about Bo's death. They talk about mourning together, are there for each other. There's more filler AKA bonding over grief, mentions of Bo's death, they're blessed to share their lives with each other. They're in love, have a great family to lean on, and a daughter. Shawn-D is going to clock out so they can go home to the couch.
Marlena and Kayla open the door to Dr. Rolf, he defends Stefano as they badmouth him. They should've known he would be involved in all this, given resurrection. He talks about being a doctor and how Kate will be his new test patient, she is with Megan, yada yada yada about Rolf's life-changing serum. Marlena asks if the person in the cryogenic tube is going to be changed by this. Rolf says that person was a great subject, kept in the tube for about a decade, Kayla asks who this is.
They know he preserved Stefan for 4 years, but how could he do it for a decade? Must be an important person, Marlena and Kayla tease and guess who this person could be. Eventually, they think it was someone they all knew from Salem. Rolf won't admit who it is, he is in a rush to finish his experiment. Back and forth, they demand to know who was in the cryogenic chamber.
Paul opens the door to Andrew Donovan, they chit-chat about the case as much as Andrew is able to tell. Andrew came looking for Paul, not John, they talk about caring about the case. They take a seat on the couch and go down memory lane, regretting letting their chance go. Andrew thought often of their kiss and wishes they could start over. Paul says they could, moves closer and kisses Andrew.
But then they stop, wonder if this could really work and if they're getting ahead of themselves. Andrew thinks they deserve to give it a chance, they begin kissing again. They're in the aftermath of lovemaking, they loved it but need to discuss where they go from here. Paul wants to talk about it later and go for round 2, but Andrew gets a call from Hope, who needs a favor, must see Harris Michaels (played Steve Burton from General Hospital).
