Sami comes in the DiMera study to find these 3 people waiting for her. They mention the article in the magazine, Sami goes into panic mode, has to make a call, and phone Kate. She tells her the Feds are there already, please help. Kate is at the Pub, where Chad found her, overheard her talking to someone else (an attorney??) about Sami being in trouble, but she pretends all is well. Now she rushes off to help Sami.
Back in the study, Sami is babbling non-stop about wanting her lawyer present, being a widow, losing her husband, and not letting these 2 men and a woman get a word in, though they try. Kate rushes in, Harold stops her, talks of a small fire in the kitchen which prevented him from announcing the 3 visitors to Ms. DiMera, but he hands their card to Kate, who looks surprised. She rushes into the study, telling Sami to put a sock in it, shows her the card. Well, that finally shuts Sami up, she looks shocked as well. And she asks the 3 if this is real. Yep, they are from Universal Studios, want to do a movie, love this article, everyone is talking about it, they want to be in the Sami Brady DiMera business. (oh, brother!).
Now it is their turn to babble, with Kate making sarcastic comments about various negative aspects of Sami's life, as the 3 talk movie, mini-series, and with the woman saying that with Sami's great body, even hosting a fitness show. They have a contract, talk about this all only being a 6 month deal, they will be staying in the Salem Inn tonight, let them know, and mention her moving to L.A. for all this. They leave.
Clyde sees Ben in the square, has changed his mind about giving him cash, instead will finance his education. Will be the first family member to have a college education. Jordan went to college, but Clyde means Weston. He figures then Ben can take the money he saved, use that to get himself a better place to live.
Jordan is visiting with Abby at Will's apt., talking about Chad. Abby makes a few negative remarks, until Jordan tells her that Chad asked her on a date. This throws Abby, but Jordan feels Abby is her best friend in Salem, has not told Ben yet, nor given Chad an answer.
Abby meets up with Chad, non-sensical conversation about him asking Jordan out. No, he wasn't trying to make Abby jealous, she has moved on, so has he.
Jordan meets up with Ben, but before she can mention Chad asking her out, Ben tells her of Clyde's offer to finance his education. She is appalled, Ben says he is not taking any money, she says it is the same thing. Ben tells her he is tired of all this hate, she cannot believe he is ready to forgive Clyde for all he has done to them. She leaves in a huff, and goes to see Clyde. She berates him for trying to buy Ben, how would Ben feel knowing the kind of man his father really is. Clyde retorts "how would he feel knowing you killed his mother".
Kristen is listen to the conversation between Eve & Theresa, when Room Service arrives, she says "put the tray over there", then looks. Ooops, tis actually Brady. She closes up her laptop, not important. Brady says he only came to pay her ($$$) for saving his father, she is insulted (and this was a silly conversation). He leaves, she goes back to listening to the bug planted in Eve's apt. However, Eve gets a phone call from her doctor, knocks over the lap, the bug falls out, Eve unknowingly steps on it. The end of that effort on Kirsten's part.
While Kristen was talking to Brady, Eve is reaming out Theresa for Kristen having come there, warning her that Kristen is making accusations and asking all kinds of questions, but she threw her out.
John is returning from therapy, Marlena has come in. they are sort of tiptoeing around, but John says the last time they saw each other, things were not good, so what has changed. Marlena quietly confesses that when she thought she would no longer have John in her life, her heart began pounding, she could not imagine that. They agree they have a lot to talk over, his hand closes over hers, they look at each other, a few tears escape down Marlena's cheek. In comes Brady. Small talk, a nurse calls Marlena for one of her patients, she leaves, Brady mentions he had seen Kristen, only to try and pay her, since he knows it must have cost a lot for research, etc. to come up with the drug that saved John. He asks if it is o.k. to bring Theresa around, so John can get to know her.
Brady leaves, John mutters that Kristen is the more important one, he has to take care of her first. Then tend to Theresa.
Kate is telling Sami she cannot go anywhere until she gets her current problem rectified. In walks Chad, who is not going to be deterred this time. O.K. Just what trouble is Sami in now?
Theresa finds Anne at the hospital, Anne brags about Kristen asking her to take charge of this scholarhip. Theresa drags her off to the park so they can talk privately. anne goes on and on about taking a young girl under her wing, showing her how to be a good administrator, when a very frustrated Theresa finally interrupts, assuring her that Kristen only wants to talk to her about Theresa. Anne is not understanding, reminds her that John backed up her story that it was Brady who whacked him, so Theresa is safe, no worries. Theresa wonders how Anne knows. Anne just laughs, mentions how concerned Theresa always was, asking questions all the time, not hard to figure out. Theresa tells her that John knows, he does remember. He knows it was me to hit him with the poker.
And in her hotel room, Kristen cackles with glee, she doesn't need anyone else, because you, Theresa, have admitted it yourself.

Seriously, this is just too stupid for words. Just when you think the writers can't do worse, yep, they do !
