8/13/20 - Donuts and rain again

I don't think Gena should have to visit him at all but if she does, at the very least, the visits should be supervised by an impartial person who can/will put a stop to the visit if your ex even hints of heading in an inappropriate direction. Grrrrrrr.

Good afternoon......dr. visit for me, gad, they put the sticker with my temp on it, on my hand, and when I got home, I could not get it off. Then the paper part finally came off, but not the sticky stuff. grrrr. Phone calls sure kept me busy, I was to run out to store, never made it. Business problems arose as well. Paper came. 3 area restaurants that had opened, closed up because an employee tested positive, so the restaurants closed for that throrough cleaning and sanitizing. 2 were near my old lake home. One other restaurant decided to go back to only "to go" meals, curb side pickup, though no problem. Just wanting to be safe side.

Mandy, just wish the ad litem could pop in ever time, thus perhaps making some noise to have the visits ever 2 weeks maybe, until whenever they are going to have the hearing, etc. This father, who a couple weeks ago was trying to bad mouth your housekeeping, sits with his little girl and wants to talk porn with someone else. Egads!

Hey, Avey, so envy your time away in Cape Cod. Sigghhhhh. As to your upcoming trip to Chicago.......hope you actually mean one of the suburbs......Born & raised there, no family there any more, but super best friend in suburb, I have visited nearly every year. Hate traffic there, detest it. Spoiled here. Hey, 3 cars in a row is a traffic jam. O.K. exaggerating a bit, in summer it means 5.....except in road construction time......which is nightmare, Chicago traffic then. LOL

Next week, we are to be in the 70s (middle to high) all week. Do you think it means summer is coming to an end up here?

I know different areas of the country all don't have the same issues, or weather......but are we going to be stay home, wearing masks til next spring?

At dr. office today, in waiting room, 3 men, a woman, me. one man called in. woman called in. another man leaves when his ride arrives. (mind you we are all about 12 ft. apart in the chairs. This leaves one man, opposite side of room, across from me, both of us sitting against a wall. He gets called in.......I hear his first name, I know that. He begins chatting up the nurse who called him, tis my friend. We sat across, not knowing who the other was, covered by our masks!

Pretty well, Kat. Thanks. I continue to have a few random symptoms pop up, but for the most part am feeling SO MUCH BETTER!! I get some pains in my feet, but that does seem to be getting better. [I've increased my vitamin C] The most nagging symptom is dry cough and scratchy throat/squeaky voice. It comes and goes. I have an appointment to see an ENT in mid-Sept. for a procedure that takes a look at my throat to see if they can see any reason for the irritation. [Doesn't sound like a fun procedure.] My energy level is so much better!!! And no more panic attacks! Yay!

So glad to hear your good update, Lil0. Are you taking thyroid medication? You've probably said but I can't recall. Falcon looks like a sweetheart. He's a cutie too. I like the black and white coloring of both him and Vinnie.

Poirot, I know what you mean about not recognizing people in masks. I've had several people I know well, who have failed to recognize me until I speak up. I haven't had trouble recognizing others because most of the people I know don't wear masks.

OC ~ No, I'm not taking any thyroid medication. I'm hoping that my case may have been discovered early enough that my thyroid will be able to function on its own. I'm reading so many stories of folks with this condition who are having a devil of a time trying to get their thyroid meds properly adjusted. I'm hoping I will be able to avoid that. I'm taking supplements and a homeopathic medication specifically formulated for Hashimoto's Disease. So far, so good.
