Yes, I felt the earthquake. Ava had slept in my room and we got woken up by the quake. It's about the fifth one I've felt here. It definitely felt like it lasted longer than any of the others. Ava felt it; Annabelle didn't but said she heard our light fixtures shake. I just remembered I felt one while we were on vacation in more in central Oklahoma. I was the only one awake in our hotel room, so no one else felt that one and I had completely forgotten about it.
I didn't feel the Columbia explosion, but I was on my to work that morning and that's the first time I heard the Emergency Broadcast/Alert System being used on the radio. Now, that happens a lot more with Amber Alerts and such, but back then it was kind of rare experience.
