Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed in the Rocky films) passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, at the age of 76. I know he did other movies and TV shows but I remember him best for his Apollo Creed character in the 4 Rocky films he co-starred in with Sylvester Stallone. From the posted tributes it seems like he was a well-liked person and respected by many. RIP Carl Weathers.

Never saw him in the Mandalorian. I prefer Star Trek over Star Wars. Star Trek: The Next Generation with Patrick Stewart anyway. Never cared for the other Star Trek shows but did like the William Shatner and original cast Star Trek films (80's and early 90's), but they were second behind the Next Generation cast.
 
I found him to be wonderful in the last two seasons of In the Heat of the Night
 
I was looking at his IMDB page and realized I've seen him in a lot of things, just didn't really know his name. He was such a good actor.
