The Salem PD has no common sense. I also don't know why they are not looking for Jordan as a potential witness, as she was there with Abby before the baby disappeared. Hope is showing she is not police commissioner material as she is not looking at the big picture, everything in her mind goes back to Ben.

Even though the cops don't know what the writers have done to Jordan, she could have seen someone leaving or near the Horton House, and her name's come up several times.

If batty Hope and her Keystone Kops had a lick of sense, long ago they would have compiled a map of every cottage and cabin within twenty miles of Salem. They also should keep track of all the empty warehouses in Salem. Here's a short, incomplete list of cabins, cottages, and empty warehouses involved with crimes.
Sami, encouraged by Celeste, tried to incinerate EJ at a cabin.
Marlena was once held prisoner at Don Craig's cabin.
Anna held Baby Sydney at a cottage on EJ's orders.
Dr. Chyka held the Love Doctor and Nicole at a cabin.
Ben held Chad and Abigail in a cabin before tying to incinerate them.
Officer Dean Hartman held Ciara prisoner in what looked like a cabin or cottage.
The teens held Chase in a warehouse.
Yo-Daddy and his idiotic phantom army operated out of a warehouse
Ciara was kidnapped and held hostage in a warehouse by Yo-Daddy.

Heck if any of Salem PD had watched any 80s or 90s horror movies then they should know it always starts at the cabin in the woods.
