I remember reading that $$$ breakdown once. But not as complete. It is no wonder, then, that the "stars" who are also doing other shows, take their partners with them back to whereever, so they can rehearse. Thanks Squirrelly.

That's interesting.

I was disappointed in the title of the show. I thought it was
regular people (viewers) dancing with famous people.

LOL, I get a kick out of just WHO the show thinks are stars.

I think the pros are the stars, just a personal opinion of my own.

Most Americans would stub their toes trying to dance when unemployed like these 'stars'!

Thanks for this. I remember Brooke Burke doing an interview with Oprah a few years back where she kept talking about the financial benefit of winning. I guess this kind of money could mean the difference between working the rest of the year and not, though it is still low for Hollywood. Plus remember the "Stars" have to account for taxes and probably giving 10% to their Agent as well.

When you count 15 "stars" the lst week, the pros, the sets, judges, costumes, makeup, hair, etc., each show is very expensive.
