There has been nothing official stated about David's father (as far as official or credible spoilers). Anything posted online at this point is pure speculation or rumor.
Would be funny if it was Rex. Sarah would blow a gasket.

LOL. That's one line they won't cross, thankfully, unless it turned out that Ben and Jordan weren't biological siblings.
