Episode #11208 Taped 9/29 Director – Albert Alarr
The show opens with a repeat of several scenes that ended the show yesterday. Nicole comes into the Pub, sees Daniel with Sydney and reads him a riot act, while demanding her baby back. He refuses, and she goes on and on, not letting him get a word in edgewise. (Actually, you’d swear this was Sami here, Ha.) He is tryng to get her to calm down, she just goes on and on, Chloe comes in, and now Nicole tries to get Chloe to tell Daniel off, but Chloe stays calm, tells Nicole to go get a glass of water, sit down, and then talks to Daniel. He thinks something else is going on for Nicole to be ranting like this, Chloe agrees, goes to talk to Nicole, who admits she has a problem. Finally, Chloe brings Sydney over to her, Daniel gets paged and leaves. Nicole claims she is in big trouble, the birth parents are going to take Sydney from her. She eventually talks Chloe into taking Sydney over to her place, not tell anyone, and to wait for her. She has to run a couple errands, make arrangements to get out of town.
At the K mansion, Hope is telling Bo she wants to come home, Bo is happy about that, but lets her know she can’t. They go round and round about Carly, Bo assuring Hope that Carly is only a friend, that Hope is the love of his life, his family is most important, yada, yada. She trusts Bo, just not Carly, especially after what Victor told her about the woman. Bo reminds her Vic doesn’t trust anyone who is not a Kiriakis, she agrees. For their own safety they have to stay put. Hope is upset, tells Bo to leave now. Later, Justin comes in, says he knows he is not going to be able to fight the extradition for much longer. She tells him Bo was there, and she wanted to go home, Bo said no, too dangerous because of Carly (and him being the court appointed guardian). She can’t help but feel he is choosing Carly over her. Justin assures her that Carly is in danger, and that danger could affect Hope & Ciara, but Hope just has a huge pity party, even tho she realizes this is all her fault for leaving in the first place.
At the cop shop, Bo is at his desk, and in comes Caroline, who has come to talk some sense into her son. She gives him a piece of her mind, he talks of Carly being killed if returned to her country, he is trying to help a friend. She reminds him that his family is his FIRST priority, then asks what he thinks Pop would say. Bo sinks down in his chair, knowing that Pop would say he was being a fool.
Sami is babbling and rushing around her apartment, she has to find Sydney & bring her home, she grabs her phone, is going to call Nicole. Rafe is being very calm, trying to tell her no, grabs her phone, stashes it in his inside pocket. He tells her they have to stay calm, have a plan first. Sami agrees, and next they are at the DiMera door. Mary answers, no, Nicole is not there. Sami says she is there to pick up Sydney, Mary will go get her. Sami impatiently waits, Mary returns, Sydney is not here, she doesn’t know where she is. Sami is about to blow a gasket, but Rafe ushers her out, thanks Mary and they leave. Outside, Rafe tells Sami to go to the Pub, he will check a couple places.
Chloe is at her apt. with the adorable Sydney when Daniel calls. You are all going to laugh when Sydney seems to say “uh, oh”, as she waves some toy around. Daniel hears, learns Sydney is with Chloe, while Nicole is off somewhere.
A forlorn Mia sits on the dock, as Carly comes upon her, wanting to help, since she looks so sad. No one can help, and I don’t even know you. Carly thinks they have something in common, mentions liking to come down to the pier when she used to live in Salem, it had a calming effect. Mia agrees. And along comes an angry Chad, with an envelope in his hand, calling Mia a whore, talking of how she slept around with numerous guys, & then gave her baby away to a whoring porn star. Lucky for the baby, cuz she would have made a lousy mother. Carly tells him to back off or he will find himself in an ambulance. LOL. Mia realizes Chad got the test results, Chad admits it, knows he is not the father, but says he would have loved that baby. He finally takes off, Mia is crying, Carly holds her. They talk a bit, Mia confides she gave her baby to a good and loving home. Carly asks about her parents, but Mia says they are not in the picture. She rarely saw her dad, her mom has problems, kicked her out when she got pregnant, and she has been on her own ever since. And that is why she gave up her child, so that she would not have any of that. But now the adoptive parents are having problems, but the mother truly loves Sydney. Carly assures her that mothers always think of their kids first, and that is what she did, she IS a good mother herself.
Sami rushes into the Pub, spots Chad, goes over to talk to him. He is in a bad mood, mentions getting the DNA results and he is not the father. She did not know, she is sorry, he tells her to just leave him alone. She takes out her phone, sees the battery is low, that Rafe would not be able to reach her and decides to go home.
Rafe is at the hospital, asking a nurse where the day care is. She tells him on the 3rd floor, he asks her to call and see if Sydney DiMera is there, just as Daniel comes up. Daniel tells the nurse he will handle this.
Nicole arrives at Sami’s apt., flashes back to Sami giving her the $50,000 and wonders where it is. She begins looking for it, opening drawers, etc. She has looked everywhere with no luck, gets a lightbulb moment and say, of course, the kitchen.
Rafe has burst into Chloe’s apt, she stands with Sydney in her arms, and he tells her to give him that baby.
Nicole has found the money, checked to make sure it was all still there (can’t believe Sami didn’t put it in the bank!), talks of the new life she & Sydney will have, shoves the envelope into her purse, grabs her things, and starts to leave. She opens the door, and there is Sami. Faceoff!
