Thanks for the write-up. This sounds like a heartwarming Christmas episode in many ways. I'm just not happy with Julie (when am I ever?) or Sarah behaving so poorly, especially on a holiday. I'm also not surprised that Julie didn't mention Will or Ari--her precious Nick wasn't a fan of Will's and never got a chance to steal Ari from him, so I suspect that is why

I'm bummed they've just dropped the time jump. I was still holding out hope that at the finale of the show real Jenn would wake up from her coma and tell us all of this was her imagination.

That would have been nice, but the time jump was a very poorly executed idea, and was not thought out/planned, etc. completely by ReRon. Maybe he thought that by now, all the viewers would have forgotten it........but if so, he is not giving viewers credit at all for their memory, or loyalty.

When we first knew they were doing the jump I thought they would spend most of that year going back in time and showing us what happened. At it almost started out that way but then everything was just wrapped up or forgotten if I remember correctly. I like Kayla and Justin together and I wanted to see how their romance unfolded. And I really gave them credit for going out on that limb and making such a big couple change and liking it. Sigh.

We all see things differently. Julie is practically the only Horton left. I will like her, altho when she was young, I certainly didn't! I'll take Gwen over Sarah any day. I don't see the kids as bratty as some of---they just kids. Just Kristen's daughter. She is a mouthy brat.

I thought I had watched Fri. episode, but the various comments about Julie has me thinking I had better watch again, or else I missed some scenes somehow. Just don't remember Julie being rude or obnoxious.....so will try to watch or rewatch this afternoon. Meanwhile, I am rather chilled, and gonna put the electric space heater on here (my little office) and maybe turn the fireplace back on.

Well, it does appear we are back into 2022. I can't for the life of me remember why we jumped a year and/or what that was supposed to have accomplished!!!!!

It was supposed to be something daring/exciting/revolutionary and never done on a daytime soap.

In the end, it was just a big ol' yawn.

Re-Ron also seems to think the following is revolutionary on a 21st Century soap:
-Twins in a love triangle
- Cheating
- Families going to jail
- Ridiculous mobster wars

In the words of Grahamn McTavish's character from a Rambo movie: "I've seen it all before...I'm not impressed!"

Re-Ron thought that boy/girl twins in a bisexual love triangle was going to be revolutionary, since Days already had twins in a love triangle (Samantha Evans trying to fight Marlena for Don Craig's affections back in the day).

Julie was rude to Gwen, but for Julie, this was hardly bad behavior.

Love seeing Eli. I wish they hadn’t exiled the one decent young family couple going.

Wonder why the show hesitates to recast........(not that they always get the right person), but it does seem Lani could have been recast........

I thought Eli and Lani were written out to trim the cast—so they wouldn’t recast the roles.

I thought that one of them wanted to leave, so they discussed it with the other, who agreed it was time to leave as well. They felt it best for their characters to leave town at the same time to close their story.
