I think Gwen should be pregnant, along with Nicole, Sloan, and Sarah. Toss in Chloe too, because, why not? Throw in some of Maggie's dusty old eggs, too. Then all the babies will be born on the same night and they'll all get mixed up at the hospital and it'll take years to sort out the maternal and paternal DNA tests. :rolleyes:
 
I think Gwen's baby should be magically Xander's. Chloe's baby is Xander's. Nicole can remember sleeping with Xander again while drunk on biscuits, and her baby can ALSO be Xander's. Including Sarah's, he can have four babies at once. Sloan has a phantom pregnancy, snaps, and steals all their babies. The only place in Salem with enough space for them all is the DiMera tunnels. All of them grow up shirtless like daddy.

But it's the same on every single soap that is and was on the air. It's not something specific to Days. Heck, even Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing had who's the daddy and paternity switching storylines.

With Mickey being Mike's dad, Laura and Tom (and the viewers) knew from the beginning that Mickey wasn't Mike's dad, since they knew Mickey was sterile. It was only a bombshell to Mickey and Mike when the truth came out years later. Wasn't like they switched paternity on a dime, like finding out Bo was really Victor's son.
