Today is the day of porn it is basically at the end of the show when the music starts you can turn off the show and get on with your life if you don’t want to see it. But it take a lot of conversation to get to the bedroom.

Paulina and Sloan, discuss the scandal with Paulina’s daughter’s issue. Paulina talks of Lani. Sloan is talking about Chanel.

The girls sitting around with Alex and talk about Sonny being home and drinking wine. Allie is happy to talk about why they invited him over. But no one wants to tell him. This is a cringe worthy conversation. Eventually they take up Alex on his offer. Then more soap stares.

Chad is eating Stephanie’s face off. Stephanie stops him. She thinks it’s too soon. Chad wants get out of here, he wants a ride share.

EJ is preening over Jake’s signature is forged. Johnny tries to support Ava who continues to glare at EJ. Lots of folks agree the signature is fake and all the documentation regarding the marriage happened after the wedding. Johnny asks Ava if she married Jake, Ava said no.

Chad and Stephanie arrive at Steve and Kayla’s.

The girls at home and discuss the trip to the Dells, a Duck tour. Alex takes his glasses off, Chanel says Allie if you aren’t able to say the word threesome maybe you aren’t ready for one.

EJ tells Johnny all the bad girl things about Ava did how Uncle Jake wasn’t even cold when she started scheming to get the precious DiMera shares and fortune. Johnny asks if it’s true, Ava says no, I loved Jake he asked me to marry him that day we were going to be married. Ava was insecure about Gabi, so she said yes. Ava explains. Johnny wants to know what was it like. Ava tosses Gabi under the bus.

Paulina tells Sloan that if it’s about Chanel being bi-sexual, that’s not a thing anymore and Paulina stands with the LGBTQ community.

Alex and the girls chat, with soap stares between the girls.

Chad and Stephanie are drinking and Chad is 4 sheets to the wind. They drink to wherever the night takes them. Chad touches Stephanie’s knee and kissy kissy.

EJ is not surprised that Gabi put Ava up to the entire thing. Ava explains that terrible night. EJ is rude Johnny shuts him down. Ava turns the tables on EJ. Ava admits she was frightened and scared and so alone. Ava admits she puts the rings on.

Sloan and the mystery of Chanel. Paulina looks like she’s never seen the document.

Alex and the girls agree that they’ve been feeling less close, Alex thought so, bringing someone new into the mix is a good idea. Alex says you want me because I’m so shallow.

Stephanie and Chad start kissing and stripping. Chad stops, he’s sorry he can’t do this.

Paulina wants to know what Sloan wants. It’s what her clients want. It’s a simple blackmail. Paulina wants to know who the is Sloan’s client. Sloan replies that it is something not important. Paulina wants to know what she’s doing.

Alex is bummed that Stephanie and Chad are going to make a night of it, so what the hell, if you want to go through with this, what the hell.

Stephanie and Chad both agree this isn’t the correct time or place for them to do this.

Ava tells of how horrible EJ was to her, so Ava went along with Gabi’s plan. Johnny is conflicted. Ava agrees it is time she paid the piper. Ava apologizes to Johnny for lying to him. Johnny tells off EJ. EJ wants to call the cops for all the crimes Ava has committed.

Paulina tells Sloan where to stuff it. Paulina continues to talk over Sloan.

Alex and the girls chat about how amazing threesomes are. They do some shots, then Alex starts kissing Chanel, then moves over to Allie and they look deeply affected by it, they then kiss while Alex watches.

Johnny tells EJ to not call the police. He won’t let his father send Ava to prison. Ava must leave Salem now and never return. EJ is telling a mob princess to leave town, it’s cute. EJ leaves all pumped up and powerful.

Sloan is going to leave her copy of many copies of the blackmail document with Paulina. If Paulina doesn’t agree it could mean Chanel’s freedom.

Chad wants to call a car and go home. Stephanie and Chad talk about awkwardness out of the way, they are okay. Chad leaves. Stephanie looks pensive.

Threesome starts for the bedroom. We get music and porn. After round one the girls profess love for each other. Alex is getting drinks for round two.

A VERY drunk Chad arrives home and sees a picture of Abby, he holds it. Stephanie is on the phone with her Dad, asking that he tell mom that she loves her.

A phone call comes in to Stephanie’s phone, but she’s not answering, it’s Paulina barking orders to Stephanie, call me back as soon as you get this type of Paulina bluster.

Ava grabs her bags and goes to leave. Ava tells Johnny there is nothing left for me in Salem. Ava kisses Johnny on the cheek and leaves. EJ comes down happy that Ava’s gone. Johnny tells daddy dearest he will make EJ pay for this if it’s the last thing he does.

I liked a few things about today's show.

First, Alex did not automatically think of the threesome, he was thinking of a trip somewhere, and really did look clueless. I also think that, despite my not a fan of their having a threesome, it was handled very well. Not graphic, a bit on the artistic side, if you will, for lack of a better word, and it did not take up a lot of time on the show. Question is, now that they gals both admitted they enjoyed it, will they do it again? Did this confirm that they both missed men and need to have them in their lives now and then?

Second: SO GLAD Chad put the brakes on him and Stephanie. That would have been a huge mistake for so many reasons. He never should have even gone back to her place (well, Kayla and Steve's place, and thankfully, Steve was at the hospital and would not have come home to witness anything).

Do not care for the Sloan story line at all, and HOW will Stephanie fix this for Paulina? Sloan has copies of incriminating proof.

EJ is just more despicable each day we see him.

I just don't think Ava will leave Salem with her tail between her legs. We have not seen the last of her.

I wonder what Johnny has up his sleeve?

I'm not much of a prude but I can't believe this was going to be on network TV. The only reason I still think that they didn't film these shows for Peacock is that you can see where the spots for regular commercials are.

My hope now is that Chanel and Alex end up together and leave Allie in the dust. I assume they flipped on a real romance between Alex and Stephanie since they didn't take the opportunity here to have him bail on this situation. In the beginning I thought Chanel looked like she was going to call all of this off and she was just letting Allie make the announcement and then she'd be the voice of reason.
 
Robin, you did a really good job of covering it all. I also cannot believe this was actually intended originally to be on regular network NBC! That said, it is thankfully, (the 3some porn scenes) filmed in the dark, no lights, & while Alex is bare chested, the gals are filmed mostly shoulders up, with sheets, of course.

Got a kick that when Allie spoke of how Alex suggested something the 3 of us could do together, he immediately thought of the Wisconsin Dells trip. And for those of you wondering about "the duck tour".....they have these boats at the dells, that have wheels, called duck boats.... so they can leave the water, drive up on land, do some touring, back into the water then for water tour. The only thing that I know for sure is that I do not, in way, shape or form want Allie with Tripp and/or Alex with Stephanie. I think that Alex and Allie would be the perfect pair given their lack of boundaries.

I definitely want this to blow up in Allie's face, as well. I just can't help but wonder, though, would Allie have pulled this if Marlena and Kate weren't so sick? I suspect that they would have been able to pull Allie from the edge of the cliff. Maybe this is just Allie's lame attempt at getting attention.
 
I doubt Allie would've been discussing having a threesome with Alex Kirakis with Marlena and Kate. I also don't think it's her way of getting attention because the only four people who know are Allie, Chanel, Alex and Will (when she tried to discuss their sex lives with him). If she was looking for attention, she'd be bathering on and on about it with everybody she encountered, hoping to get some sort of reaction.

I'm glad I could fast forward the bedroom scene on my Roku.

It's too bad we didn't see the Wisconsin Dells instead. It's been a long time since I've been there.

Do we know where Henry was when this was going on? At least, Chad told Stephanie that Jack was taking care of his kids.

Stephanie needs to reexamine her life since she told Alex she didn't date people that were involved with business,
but she had drinks and kisses with Chad.

It's too bad Alex saw Stephanie and Chad kissing. He may not have gone to see Chanel and Allie.

EJ now knows for a fact Gabi had Ava lie about being married to Jake. What will he do to her?

Does Johnny have feelings for Ava? Will Ava leave Salem?

I laughed when Johnny accused EJ of putting people in a DiMera dungeon to have the person prove the signature on the
marriage license was fake. The big question is why did it take EJ so long to prove it?

So what happened when Chanel went to college? And who is Sloan working for?

The big question is how many viewers that paid for Peacock will stop watching after today's show.

Really Steph, ready to sleep with Chad the day you hire him but couldn't possibly date Alex cause you work together. I was never an Abigail Chad fan. Didn't think they were soul mates but I don't think he should get involved with Stephanie.

It's time for Allie and Chanel to disappear all right. If only Stefano was around to send them to some secret island, keeping them off viewers'
screens for years.

Wisconsin Dells: This popular vacation spot dodged a bullet when the unholy threesome decided not to go there. If the word got out that the likes of them visited the Dells, the number of visiting families would fall off a cliff.

Alex: It's too bad that Victor didn't hear of his descent into depravity. He'd toss him out for conduct unbecoming a Titan CEO and give the job to wholesome married man, Xander.

EJ: He actually won on the Jake's shares question, but typically overreached and made a fool of himself and earned the hatred of his only son. Way to go, EJ.

Sloan: It's official -- she's the absolute bottom of the Salem legal barrel. She may call herself a "facilitator" to a blackmail plot, but in fact, she's an accomplice who should be immediately disbarred and charged with a felony.
 
Just an aside.....but I have been to Wisconsin Dells, actually, a couple of times. It is a really beautiful, scenic area. That tour on the duck boat is fantastic experience, I would love to go there right at this time of year, with the peak autumn colors now. (Was summer when I went). It is about a 4 hr drive south from here, about a 3 hrs. from Chicago area. Just north of Madison......but gorgeous scenery, water parks galore, tho I don't remember any from when I was there (been a while)

I loved that the writers mentioned the area within the soap, since Salem is supposed to be pretty close to Chicago area. And yes, there is a Salem Illinois, also a Salem, Wisconsin which is just over the state line from Illinois. LOL

I agree with you. I don't think that she would be talking about the threesome itself with Marlena and Kate, either. I was just saying that perhaps if Allie talked about her insecurity/jealousy about Chanel/Johnny, they could have told her not to be so insecure. That way perhaps she wouldn't have made such a hasty decision.
