Sweeping Townhouse Establishing Shot - Johnson Townhouse/Apartment - Abe's been a great houseguest. He has his memory back. Kayla and Steve were glad to have him. Abe's returning to Paulina's, and Kayla has to go to the hospital to discharge her. Steve will move Abe's things.

Hospital Shot Daytime - Paulina's Room - Chanel arrives and tells Paulina she looks great. They talk about the worry before the miracle.

Police Station Establishing Shot - Main work area - Harris is looking for Rafe. Jada reminds him that Rafe's at Statesville trying to figure out how Clyde escaped. Harris is supposed to be resting. Jada checked on him at the Pub (Roman let her in) and knows he's not been convalescing at home. He has a flashback. She knows he was at Ava's. He knows she thinks this is not a good idea.

Spectator Offices (why don't they get an establishing shot?) - There's a new sign on the wall I've not noticed before. Leo is considering how to word an article about Clyde's escape or a governor scandal. Chad arrives and scolds Leo for thinking about a story about the man who killed his beloved Abby. Chad asks Leo to do some regular reporting about Paulina's release since he did so well with the MLK day piece and the Horton House story. [[EDITED TO ADD]] And because Everett is dealing with his “personal problems.” Leo reminds him that Paulina's not a fan of his, but he'll do it with confidence and panache. Chad suggests less panache. Leo leaves and Chad has a flashback (can't find the date of it) about remembering Abby. It is interrupted by Stefan who wants to drink with his brother.

Price Condo (also no establishing shot) - Johnny and Steve are moving things. Johnny cleaned the fridge. They recap the miraculous events of "last night". Johnny tries to recap the prison break but Steve redirects.

Paulina's room - Paulina is eager to leave. She's a great friend. Abe can't wait to be home with his wife. Lots of smiles, no plot movement.

Spectator Offices - Chad stops Stefan from drinking. Stefan speaks of regrets, including "what went down" between him and Abby. Let's all remember how awesomely amazing and pure Abigail was. Now her killer is on the streets, Stefan had nothing to do with Clyde's escape. He gets emotional and they talk about chess. Stefan needs a new plan but doesn't tall Chad anything. Stefan admires how good Chad is. They hug.

Hospital Waiting/Nurse Area - Leo and other reporters (one even has a speaking role) ask Paulina questions about her implausible illness and recovery. (Normally a scene like this would happen at the doors, I guess we couldn't afford an exterior set.) The reporters try and try to no avail. The Price-Carvers leave. The unnamed reporter is stymied by Kayla and Paulina's stonewalling. Leo is determined.

Price Condo - Steve is distant as Johnny talks about the spread they've put out. Steve snaps back to the convo without alerting Johnny to his distracted state, jokes that if Johnny falls out "with [his] family" that he can start a catering business. Abe, Kayla, Paulina, and Chanel arrive. More grins, less plot movement. A bit later, Kayla tries to find out what was distracting Steve. Leo arrives with flowers and schmoozes Paulina, who admired his work on the Horton House piece and the MLK day piece. She gives him 10 minutes; he continues laying it on thick and Paulina calms him down. Later, he's gotten info from Paulina, and Kayla confirms the recovery was astounding/miraculous. Johnny toasts his mother-in-law. Everyone loves Paulina, the most wonderful human to have ever graced Salem.

Police Station Interrogation Room - Jada wants privacy. Harris wants to terminate the conversation. They discuss Ava's criminal history and Jada's bending of the rules. (Oddly, Jada says "bended" instead of bent, is that something common?) Jada is concerned as a friend and colleague.

Spectator Offices - Chad looks at a picture of Abby (Marci Miller) on the Horton couch with him and the kids. He misses her. He gets back to work, thinks about Clyde, and gets angry.

Police Station Main Work Area - Jada and Harris come out of the interrogation room with neither having moved in position. Stefan enters (Harris was about to call him). Stefan confesses to the sole responsibility for drug-running and money laundering at the Bistro. He clarifies to Jada's questions that he acted alone and made Ava comply. He wants to cut a deal with the DA, his brother. END

Loved no commercials today.

Can't believe Stefan confessed. He did say Ava did nothing illegal. So is he going to pin something legal on her?

Stefan talking to Chad, Chad is not that great, Stefan. He is never going to get over Abigail and I never thought they were soul mates. But all this talk of Abigail makes me think won't be long til she returns from the dead.

Leo really laid on the b/s to get the Paulina interview. It’s too bad he can’t speak to Ghost Lexie. (Ghost Tek might make a good interview too.)

Leo should never compare Statesville with Alcatraz. There’s been only one possible successful escape from the Rock. People walk in and out of Statesville like it’s the Salem bus station.

Action Hero Harris thinks Ava is “good and decent” Hasn’t he ever heard about her role in the death of sainted Dad Brady, one of the most heinous unpunished crimes in Sale history?

Will boozy Zero now get full immunity from idiot DA EJ to testify against creepy Clyde? Why not? Salem justice moves in strange ways. (This would cause Rafe to fall out of hs chair.)

It's a miracle Bo didn't "take her apart", or Hope didn't shoot her, or Sami didn't screech Ava to death for killing Pop Shawn Brady. The fact that no one throws that in Ava's face on a regular basis is unbelievable.

Thanks, Jason.

This was a much ado about nothing episode with the color pink.

Interesting Leo is now a reporter. Does this mean no more Lady Whistleblower column?

It's going to be a long day in Salem with people still eating breakfast.

Stefan turned himself at the police station. Was it before 9 AM like Harris wanted him to do?
