I thought Gabi would escape on way to Statesville. But that's it. Gabi just going to be gone now? How can they do that? Are they recasting? This is crazy.

I'm really glad they didn't break up Stefan/Gabi, especially since they trashed Li for grist for them.
I agree with TinaY. If we're a repertory company, act like it!! Send Stefan/Gabi to New Zealand and bring Brandon Barash (ex-Jake; Stefan) back as some new character. Since Stefan's been both older and younger than Chad, we'll accept anything, apparently.
I guess the multiple roles only go for those actors re-Ron really loves. I don't think he had feelings about Brandon Barash (Stefan) Tyler Christopher (ex-Stefan) was his "get" and Brandon Barash (Stefan) was supposed to be short-term only.

Thanks for the summary.
I wish the departing actresses got better exits, but once again, both they and the audience got a cruddy result. These storylines are absurd. A submarine? Really? Good Lord, just when I think the show can't deteriorate any further. I'm so over it.
