I'm a bit curious as to why Sonny chose a Catholic church rather than an Orthodox one?

Because they already have the set for a Catholic church????

KathyLu, I have no idea why this popped in my mind when I read your post, but when we moved to a fairly new suburb, on Sunday, the Catholic mass service was held in a local tavern, which was nice enough to lend their place as they were closed. Eventually, enough money was raised to build a very small, cement block bldg. (later used for teen rec. center) and services were then in that "church". Sometimes, you have to "make do".

Recently, I have seen a sign for Sunday services at some new small church at a big furniture store next to WalMart up here in the northern boonies.

@JS.....see, a double wedding, everyone dressed nicely, flowers, etc. I never saw it, but bet it was really nice. Mickey, Maggie, Pete & Melissa all look just beautiful.
