I agree about Jen's look being from the 1940s. Candace Cameron Bure did a Christmas movie for Hallmark in 2016 that took place in the 1940's and her hair was very similar.

The writing for the episode was ok but not great. I would have preferred that the truth get revealed in more dramatic fashion, especially since this basically mirrors how Abby told Chad about Thomas' paternity.
