I don't remember Xander escaping. Did he? When?
At the 40 minute mark, around the time everyone was badgering Deimos, the Greek cop, looking a bit winded, returned to the villa and said something about the guards and a guy getting away. I assumed that this was Xander. If the writers intend for Deimos to elude justice again, a Xander escape would suit their purposes and leave the X-man still lurking out there some where ready to wreck vengeance on Salemites.
In fact wouldn't this be the only enforceable thing for the Salem PD to do - catch the fugitive whose crime was committed in their jurisdiction? Why is Hope cutting deals (which would be the DA's job usually, not hers) with criminals she can't even arrest? OY with this nonsense!!!
Agree. Deimos's latest crime, imprisoning people at the villa, was committed in Greece. The Salem keystone kops have no jurisdiction. They also can't just drag Deimos off to the airport. He'd be held in a Greek jail and United States would then have to ask for extradition. Deimos would then get a hearing in a Greek court where he could presumably bribe everyone in sight.
Ah, yes, Deimos loudly claimed he was a Greek citizen. So, was he in the U.S. without a Green Card? CEO of a huge conglomerate..Living in the lap of luxury in the U.S. but now wants to claim his Greek citizenship. LOLOL
With a green card, Deimos could live and work in the U.S., but would retain his Greek citizenship. In a normal world, he would hope that Greece would assert jurisdiction over one of its own nationals who is charged with committing a crime on Greek soil. It might have made for a good scene if Deimos's Greek lawyer related the many foibles of the so-called Salem criminal justice system to a Greek judge and then claimed that his client could never be treated fairly there.

Noel, should Brady be sitting up?

Wardrobe was very good to Maggie, again. Will "Ruffles McRed" be getting a name change? :)

Daniel was a sight for sore eyes. I was disappointed that he wasn't wearing his necklace, though!

I missed hearing Deimos reveal the location of the secret Xander-compound escape route to Eric/Nicole

Nicole must truly love Brady. She is willing to suffer imprisonment, and the loss of Chloe's baby, to visit him. :)

At this point, I guess Brady should do anything/everything he's able to do. :) I don't believe for a minute that Brady will die yet. Even in the real world, people with that much money can magically move to the head of any transplant list.

I don't even mind if they do a vision visit from someone gone once a year or so, but Daniel has visited quite a few times it seems! I liked him, too, but the storylines to make him St. Daniel went a little far!

You mean the loss of her own baby.

Legally Holly is Chloe's baby and Nicole kidnapped her. We don't have to like it but she legally belongs to Chloe. So yes the police gang should have arrested Nicole as well. I wonder if Chloe will go off on Hope.

Wouldn't it have made more sense for Isabella to appear instead of Daniel?

Still don't like the way the show stages it like Marlena is an outsider. She raised Brady as her own from infancy so for all intents and purposes she is his mother. Yet she is a messenger to other characters and portrayed as a supporting role to John. She should be equally as distraught as he is.

Why couldn't Brady's mother help him, she has before. Seeing his son Tate didn't give him the will to fight. But the "Wonder Doc" pep talk can inspire him to try harder?!

I do really like the actor that plays Daniel, but If I were him, I would tell the writers to find another ghost!!!!

Maybe Brady could have had a vision of Deimos taunting him to die, so that he gets Nicole and Holly. That would give Brady a reason to fight!

No way, no how. Unlike certain women in Salem who are stuck in stylistic ruts -- perpetually wearing sleeveless or wrap dresses -- Maggie likes to wear a variety of tasteful clothing that befit her role as the wisest busybody in Salem, but she certainly hasn't forgotten ruffles. On another subject, St. Daniel's mention of heaven being a place of perpetual beautiful weather and an endless succession of perfect surfing waves brought to mind an old Twilight Zone episode. There, a criminal who dies finds himself escorted into a luxurious apartment that has every convenience he'd ever want. When he plays poker, he always gets a straight flush, and when he shoots pool, the ball always goes into the pocket. Bored and frustrated beyond belief with perfection, he tells his guide that he's fed up with heaven and wants to be sent to the "other place." He's then told that he is in the "other place."

The actress who played Isabella has retired, I believe, and the thing is....she died when Brady was a tiny baby. Yes, she has "come" to him a few times, and I think nearly everyone loved it when she did appear. Yes, I could have done without Daniel's appearance once again, and especially without Victor's devotion to him. Why? He was his godfather. What the heck made Daniel more special than Bo, Isabella?
