Even though it wasn't that exciting, I do appreciate episodes where they try to have a little fun. Oh poor Andre and his fancy party! I did feel bad they all ditched and loved the ascot party favor, that was funny! I liked the guys at the pub party, it seemed very natural for them to all hang together!

What was Andre thinking? Bridge requires concentration and strategy, which isn't generally the forte of Salemites. Instead, he should have invited his guests to play whack-a-mole. As for Gil, yes, he wasn't very good, but why should he be? Rare is the Salemite who is really any good at what he/she does. (Even the vaunted, sainted super surgeon Dr. Daniel Jonas was overrated.)
