FROM LYNN: "So excited to attend Deidre Hall's Walk of Fame ceremony on Thursday. Wayne and I are so very happy for Dee and all her accomplishments. Getting her star on the Hollywood Blvd Walk of Fame is well deserved!

NOTE: Lynn Herring is the wife of Wayne Northrop (original Roman). Lynn Herring also played Lisanne Gardner on Days - JS
 
Does anyone know who paid the $30,000 fee for the star? I read that $15,000 is for the celebration and $15,000 for the upkeep. I know that other stars have been funded by the fans of the honoree. I'm guessing the show funded the cost to honor Deidre on her 40th year.
