This is great news —just what the viiewers need — a new character who’s fun to watch, not like the dull Harris, annoying Faux Bo, the awful Megan, and the unspeakable Thomas Banks.

Gotta say, Dick Van Dyke was a fabulously physical performer. Dancing, falls, whatever.........one of a kind, no one else came close. And of course, not currently either.
Thankful he is still around and we get to enjoy him!

On the news this morning, they ran a clip of him rehearsing a scene with Marlena and John in her office. He is playing a man with amnesia. Will air in the Fall. Can't wait!

I love that Dick Van Dyke is guest-starring. Knowing that his character has amnesia, it would be really interesting if he turned out to be the long-forgotten Tommy Horton (Alice & Tom's son). Tommy had amnesia before! I saw that Doug & Julie were going to have scenes with Dick Van Dyke so this came to mind. Be a fun nod to history and could mean some potential guest star returns for Dick Van Dyke.
