She's scared her butt is going to prison, so she is letting Nick call all the shots for her.

Even if she did throw them under the bus she was an accessory to throwing him in the river. They came up with a hair-brained scheme and she went right along with it. But since this is Salem I'll pretend that Gabi wouldn't get charged with a crime. However that doesn't mean squat because Nick is obsessed with her and she will never have peace of mind as long as he's around. She at this point is hoping that she can appease him and that will never happen because he is bat crap crazy.

She's definitely not thinking long-term consequences here, that's for sure. She's just trying to stay out of prison and stay with Arianna. She thinks if everyone leaves Nick alone, he'll just be happy with the situation as it is instead of realizing that Nick is going to keep demanding more and more.

After watching yesterday it sounds like to me that she is stringing him along, because of the comment she made, maybe someday she would love Nick too!

Agreed, but I felt like there was a bit of resignation in that statement. That she's clearly stuck in this situation, and she sort of brought it on herself.

Doesn't it seem, tho, that with Gabi knowing how Nick is.....that she might remember clone Rafe? and how he frightened the children so much that Sami sent Allie to Lucas in Hong Kong.

Maybe her bulb is one of those new bulbs that are supposed to last years and save energy ...they don't last years that's for sure. (back to the regular bulb I say )
