Lately everyone seems to either be “making a reservation” at The Bistro or swinging by the Pub for some takeout, or getting a snack at Sweet Bits. You’d think no other place existed in Salem. It got me thinking.

Is Chez Rouge still around? How about Julie’s Place? The Cheatin’ Heart?

Then I started thinking about some of the places that are either gone or became other restaurants. Club TBD, the Java Cafe, Wings, Doug’s Place, the Brady Fish Market, whatever that outdoor place was the Shawn/Belle/Philip/Chloe/Brady crew used to hang out at as teens.

What other places do folks remember?

Chez Rouge hasn't been mentioned since 4/18/2013, when Maggie told Victor she had to stop by there to do some paperwork. And once after that, on 2/8/2018, when JJ planned to take Lani there for dinner (when he still thought he was the father of her baby, the son who would be stillborn).

Sonny got Adrienne and Justin to give him the Cheatin' Heart to turn it into the coffee place (Common Grounds Cafe, then briefly called Caffeinated) that he, Will and Chad opened. It then became Club TBD, then Doug's Place, then Julie's Place.
 
You mean Chris Kositchek's Body Connection? That closed decades ago.

Or are you talking about Quinn Hudson's spa/gym that Maggie bought when he left town? That hasn't been mentioned since shortly after she bought it.
