And so they announced the cast & pros for the new Dancing With The Stars season......and, as usual, Don't know most of the contestants, and half the pros!

Yeah, I must lead a rather sheltered life. LOL But, Jody Sweeten (Stephanie on Full House), Kim Fields (Tootie on Facts of Life) and Geraldo Rivera are the only ones I recognized. There is a football player that probably many of you will know (sorry, I don't watch football). but I think his name is Von Miller.

I'll watch for Antonio Brown (Love my Steelers!) and Jodie Sweetin (all grown up on Fuller House).

If Geraldo opens his mouth, I'll be gone.

Only didn't know 4 of these. Curious to see which NFL'er is better. I am guessing Antonio Brown, but it will be good to see Flutie! Von Miller was the MVP of this past Super Bowl champs Denver Broncos.

Antonio Brown and Von Miller definitely know how to dance on the football field. Doug Flutie is quite a bit older so I see him gone first of the three.

I'm excited about this cast.

Jodie Sweetin is also a trained dancer I believe so I definitely see her going to the end. Von Miller seemed to have the better personality out of him and Antonio Brown so I see him going far too. Though never underestimate Steeler Nation.

Correction: The GMA weather girl is Ginger Zee not Lee.

I think Kim Fields, Geraldo, and maybe Flutie will be some of the first to go.

I rather excited about this season. At least I've heard of 85% of the people this time.

They have a lot of new pros....as some of the "regulars" are not appearing this year, like Derek Hough & Cheryl Burke.

Nyle says he is "non hearing". Can someone tell me if it is politically incorrect to say "deaf" top model??? What's wrong with the word "deaf"? I must have missed that memo.

It is usually stated as "hearing impaired" now.

We also still use the terms blind and visually impaired. (I work at an agency that provides support, life skills training, and employment for blind and visually impaired individuals in our part of Pennsylvania.)

On the show, the hostess referred to Marlee Maitlin, who is hearing impaired, but can evidently hear high notes (tho am sure the decibel level has to be pretty loud. The present fellow, who is a model, says he hears absolutely nothing, but watches his partner, trying to copy her moves.

I was amazed at how well he did.
