Emails coming slow from here

Is anyone else getting emails to topics late? I'm not getting my emails about replies to topics maybe two hours
after it's posted. I think it started over the weekend.

I use yahoo.com for emails. My other emails are coming in on time.

Wayne, should I send you a header so you can track the emails to see where the hold up might be?
 
kat - Cloud exchange servers went down in Virginia yesterday. All internet traffic in the east and northeast are being rerouted through other ones around the country. That is slowing down traffic from a lot of smaller companies since the big retail companies had to get back up and running. Even Amazon warehouses came to a halt late yesterday afternoon.
When I mailed boxes after work, it took quite a while for the USPS system to record them and issue tracking numbers. Then my debit card took another few minutes to go through.

Everything is supposed to be back to normal by tonight.

It took two hours for the reply you posted came to me.
 
This afternoon, the emails are coming the way they are suppose to from here :)
 
I spoke too soon. It's doing slow mail again this morning.
 
They are coming slowly for me too. Almost three hours from post to email notice.
 
Thanks, I thought it was fixed. Then it started up again.

Some replies are coming over 12 hours late.

Is it just here or is something still not working in the East?

It started again, Not getting emails at all. Came over and the notification bell had 10.
 
Hmmm, I don't get e-mails from here! I just come here and read whatever. That is odd.
 
The emails from topics when there's a reply has been going slowly since Friday. It was better yesterday,
but it's slower again today.

Over the weekend, the messages were over 6 hours behind for awhile.
 
Wonder why the site doesn't send me notices of posts? Odd.
 
Have you checked spam?

You might need to check a setting. Go under preferences and check email options
and content options
 
I use the settings that allow me to get email notices. I'm notified when there is a new thread in a forum I'm following then I select to follow those new threads.
I did get a notice of Pirot's response from 4:38 just now (11:25)
 
Has anyone gotten notifications today? I haven't since yesterday.

We need to figure out what's going on. Thanks
 
I just got a bunch from 2 days ago. Nothing for today and 11 bells when I got here.
