Marlena and wardrobe

What has happened to Marlena’s wardrobe lately? She always had great style and beautiful clothes. Lately it seems she likes to wear blazer jackets that are ill-fitting and not very complementary.

Yesterday and today she kept holding a magazine close to her chest and later switched to holding an iPad close to her chest. Curious if she’s hiding something?

Maybe Marlena is pregnant again!

Supposedly Deidre Hall (Marlena), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) bring a lot of their own clothes to the studio to wear on the show. In many of Deidre Hall's (Marlena) personal photos away from the studio, she appears to favor oversize boxy blazers.

As for holding the purse and iPad close to her chest, could've just been an acting choice on her part. Heck, maybe she had gotten a stain on her outfit and was trying to hide it? I don't think it was really anything other than that's how she decided to stand and hold the items.
