Meatball Appetizers

This is my Mother's go-to recipe whenever there is a party where heavy hors d'oeuvres are needed. It's a big family hit.

Meatball Appetizers

1 pound ground beef
1 t Accent
3/4 t salt
1 T chopped onion
1/2 c soft bread crumbs
1/4 c milk
1 T flour
2 T butter or margarine
3 T molasses
3 T prepared mustard
3 T vinegar
1/4 c ketchup
1/4 t thyme

Combine first 4 ingredients.
Combine breadcrumbs and milk and add to meat mixture.
Form into bitesize balls, roll in flour, and brown in butter.
Combine remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Add to meatballs.
Simmer 8-10 minutes until sauce thickens.

Makes 50 meatballs. Keep warm while serving.

Tip: Freeze then bake 1 hour at 300F.

I can never get these often enough. :)
