I was never a Rafe & Nicole fan. I always liked her with EJ & Nicole. The scenes with Galen Gering (Rafe) and Arianne Zucker (Nicole) however were really heartfelt. I thought Galen made it so believable as to how much he has wanted Nicole and longed for her.
Face it they are both 2 awesome actors who can make their emotions feel real.
I always felt Arianne can make any relationship look hot, but thought she really sizzled with EJ (James Scott)
Even Nicole with the current EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) shows sparks.
Guess we will see where this road travels.
Hate the Marlena devil story. Ridiculous. Inane. It looks like a D rated(not even a B!) horror film.

I think Nicole and Gabi (when she's written well) have the ability to have chemistry with almost everyone. I hate EJ but I can suffer through him when he's interacting with Nicole. When Philip returned I only liked him on the couple of dates with Gabi.

They sure are trying to make us hate Philip this time around, but I agree, he worked better with Gabi than with Chloe.

Part of the problem with Philip has been the choices of portrayal made by the actor. But, only a part. The writing for the character, (as for most of the other characters) has not been favorable in any way for him

I'm not sure he could make different choices given his material, but I agree that this portrayal isn't my favorite, either. It makes me wonder why we wanted him to come back.
