I can't stand rewrites. Many times they are done years after the original story. Sometimes sooner. This latest one is particularly irritating because it is so soon. We all saw Johnny go around to his relatives asking for backing for his movie and getting the bulk of it from EJ. So Johnny decides not to do the movie. It was Roman and EJ that we knew were producers and it's over for them as well. With that many people out of the project TR has no way to force it being made other than finding more financial backing for it to be made. There are huge movies that took 10 years or more to get made because production companies no longer wanted to do the project and they had to find another producer or production company to back the project. If the writers hadn't made it such a huge issue for Johnny to not be able to make the movie without EJ's money that would be one thing. This introduction to TR is weak and a complete rewrite of just a couple of months ago.

This is just silly, as are many of the storylines at the moment. TR could have come to town for another reason, or to break the contract.

Although to be fair, not sure how many want to see yet another abuser or shady figure come to town. We already had Clyde, Ian, Deimos, Aiden, Liam, Chase, Charlie...this is just in the past decade! Why do we need yet another abuser/shady criminal in town for another repeat storyline that, in all likelihood, will be poorly executed?
