Hey folks, I'm visiting Los Angeles for a few days and whom should I spot just a few blocks from my hotel? Our own beloved entrepreneur, Sonny Kiriakis!!

Jason, thanks for the heads-up about Big Boy Sonny. It’s remarkable how good people look when they get away from the stresses and strains of life in Salem. If he had stayed, a stressed-out Sonny might be involved in a battle to succeed Victor, another spat with Leo, helping Sarah rally support for Xander, or getting involved in the Everett/Bobby mess.

Well, Jason, I live in the same state as you, and have no idea of the significance of Twin Pines Mall. I know Miller Hill Mall in Duluth, Oakwood Mall in Eau Claire, ...........and I just googled it up.........is this a reference to Back to the Future? If so, saw the movie 3 times, don't remember that mall. LOLOL

Yes, it's a Back to the Future reference.

Here's Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly walking toward Doc Brown's truck in the Twin Pines Mall parking lot (with Einstein the dog sitting behind the truck).

At the end of the movie when Marty returns from his "back" part of Back to the Future the mall has a different name.

Yes, that's my favourite thing about the shirt, robin! It's a reference to the beginning of the movie, and lets me tell people about that "Easter Egg" if they haven't already noticed it. (And for sci-fi nerds, it proves that Marty changed history because he killed the crazy farmer's pine tree.)
