I don't think I've seen this posted anywhere else, but Leigh Chapman passed away on November 4th from cancer.
She was from here, where I live! So her obituary is in our paper today.
Leigh was a female screenwriter in a genre --action-adventure-- dominated by men.
She wrote for several TV scripts including Burke's Law, My Favorite Martian, Mission Impossible, etc. She also was an actress. Many remember her character in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. sporting a revolver in her skirt.
Her final TV credit was the pilot of Walker, Texas Ranger.
