Last evening the weather guy up in Duluth was showing pics people had sent in of the Northern Li8ghts which evidently were quite vivid, and should be again tonight. I looked out but did not see anything, probably was earlier in the evening perhaps. He invited everyone to send in any they might be lucky to see. Claimed if you had a "new phone", they seem to show up better and have a clearer view? He showed pics from Ashland, Duluth, & another city close to Canada border.

While watching the evening news tonight they showed this picture of the Northern Lights in Arizona!! I've seen them in Alaska, just wish I hadn't been so tired I could have watched for them last night.

Our local news had huge coverage of the unusual circumstances that had AZ being able to see the lights......a geometric disturbance on the sun....they showed pics as well. Up here the lights show green, but the pics shown are from viewers, so they make them unable to be copied. Can't post them here.

If Arizona saw them, maybe there's hope for north Texas. Hey, unusual circumstances are happening everywhere these days.

I was able to see four of them but I could only see one without my binoculars. Also, I had to wait a little later. I needed it to be darker than recommended. They were very far apart. Thanks for the reminder, Kat.
Sun just went down here.... I can only see Venus and the moon..... thanks OC I'll check the sky out later....
