Here are some you can use which are easier to remember.
The first group has a colon immediately in front and in back of the word

.....rotfl
.....clap
.......eek
:oops:.....oops
.....rolleyes
.....confused

And the next group just has a colon only in the front of the letter

.....)
:( .....(
:p ......P
:D .....D

I think the two yellow ones should have ) and ( instead of } and {.
This guy looks like he's higher than a kite. He must've been doing some partying while the Spectator was down.
