I was watching a romantic comedy called eCupid last evening. There was a character that was so familiar looking. I couldn't figure out who he was until I saw his name.

It was Mike Manning (ex-Charlie Dale). The movie also had Morgan Fairchild (ex-Anjelica) and John Callahan (who was hilarious) (ex-Dr Baker).

I thought it was weird that Charlie was mentioned today, what a coincidence.

I know she wasn't on Days, but I was sitting here working and heard a familiar voice on Perry Mason. Looked up and saw Constance Ford (Ada on Another World). She was another daytime legend. I really enjoyed watching her on AW.
 
Deidre Hall (Marlena) as Nurse Sally Lewis on Emergency! Episode Saddled on FeTv

Emergency episodes were Show Biz, Virus, Saddled, Dinner Date, and Musical Mania

I was reading something about actress Jessica Rains, who is the daughter of Claude Rains (he starred in The Invisible Man in 1933, and a 1943 version of Phantom of the Opera, among numerous other movies) and looked up her IMDB page. She did 6 episodes of Days in 1972 as someone named Ruthie. I thought maybe she was a teenager, but in doing the math, she was 34 at the time. Tried to figure out what storyline she was involved in, but didn't really come up with much.
 
Don't remember her at all, but her dad (Claude Rains) was a terrific actor. Casablanca....the end when he & Bogie strolled off with Bogie commenting, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Besides fabulous Phantom of the Opera, he was also in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington...just an actor that never failed to give a good performance.

Ruthie. I remember her from scripts, she was involved with Rick I think, a druggie? UPDATE: Just checked, I have those outlines somewhere, so if I can track them down on my computer, I will look her up.
 
Ended up having 5 of Ruthie's 6 episodes! Only her last episode, 5/29/72, is not in my files:

What a description for Ruthie: Rick's fat, unattractive roommate.
