I just saw a clip of Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt singing I don't know much but I know I love you, and that reminded me of the lovely singing we used to get on Days. I know the budget no longer allows this, but I sure do miss it!!! Who was it that sang that song with Aaron Neville on Days?

It was Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville who sang Don't Know Much. According to Beth's Days of Our Lives Page (no longer online), the song was used once, for Steve and Kayla in 1990, when a pregnant Kayla was being held on a boat by Victor.

This song always mists me up.

Gloria Loring's Liz Chandler also sang on the show, as we will fondly recall.

Once upon a time, to use a song, the royalty was very minimal. But then that changed, so it became way too expensive to use a well-known song. Thus Days began using (just a few times) songs written by cast members, i.e. Kelly Moneymaker, Peter Reckell's (Bo) wife. Or background music created by Days music dept.

Ken Corday is VERY happy with the music on the show..... now.... that is his only contribution to the show I guess.... stabbing violins and other weird soundscapes......

I miss music on the show.....
