Speculation/red herring?

Now this is probably the writers messing with us or trying to throw a red herring and don't know how but, that conversation about Orpheus mirrored Aiden.

They would cut to Aiden when talking about Orpheus' love for his kids, wanting a mother for his kids, etc.

I know how messed up Days timeline is and how screwed up it would be, but would they dare say Aiden is his son? A brother would make more sense.

I joked weeks ago that Aiden and Anne were Orpheus' long lost kids.

But I don't think the writers are that clever.

From how Orpheus was sounding sad and remorseful with Joey about what happened with his kids, would he have allowed Clyde to take Aiden out if he was his son? That is my hesitation.

I thought of that also, but I thought at the time that he didn't know Clyde was aiming at him. He probably did know and if so, you are right I don't think he would have taken out Aiden if he knew he was his son. I guess Aiden could have changed his name but probably not.

Not that they can't fudge timelines, but Chad's mother was Kate's age. Orpheus' children were approximately the same age as Sami and Eric.

What about Chase's late mother? Maybe she was Orpheus' daughter, and he blames Aiden for her death, hence why he was allowing Clyde to kill him. That would make Chase the grandson of Orpheus.

But I agree with JS, the writers aren't that clever. haha.
