Does anyone else think texting on TV shows is bad? Most of the time, I have to hit pause and
run to the TV to see what was said. Even when I do that. I still can't read what they wrote.

Sometimes I wonder what I may have missed when I can't read it or go back to see what was said.

Same here, don't know why the shows think the viewers are able to discern what is on the small little phone. It is helpful if the receiving character reads it aloud, but usually they don't.

Along a similar vein, I dislike clicking on a news story and reading a collection of tweets instead of an actual news story.

My favorite is when they text on TV and use the cartoon bubble so we can see what they sent. Annoying. Or showing someone get a long awaited letter and opening the viewer see the print for a nano second yet are required to know what was on the letter.
