The dvr on my slingtv is weird

So we switched to slingtv recently. The odd thing is I'm in Texas but the dvr function on my slingtv records the feed from the Connecticut NBC station. So I can watch it fully recorded at the time it runs on my local NBC channel.

Yeah, I used to get an NY station, so got it earlier than locally. But then that finally ended, so local only for me.

Thanks for moving this to the right forum. I wasn't sure where to put it. I do kind of like having the show an hour earlier in my recording.

Ok the weird continues. Yesterday and probably today since it hasn't started recording slingtv recorded the feed my time zone. Looks like variety is the spice of life for slingtv.

When I had Sling, it recorded from different stations. It started because I'd travel and from then on, it recorded the shows when and where it seemed to want.
