Chad turned on a television yesterday for a few seconds. When was the last time anyone in Salem was seen watching TV? Everyone has cellphones but no televisions anywhere!

When was the last time anyone in Salem was seen watching TV?

I think it was the night that Johnny went missing from the pub and Sami and Rafe where home and saw on the news that the body of a child had been found. I think the time before that was when Stefano and EJ where arrested for the Fake Rafe fiasco and Sami, Johnny, and Rafe were on the couch watching the news report about it lol.

The first thing I noticed about that TV in Chad's hotel room (it was shown briefly and there were buttons on top) was that it looked like an old TV and not a flat screen, lol.

Considering the class of people who stay at the Salem Inn, the management is probably afraid to put flat screens in the rooms. Why spend good money on modern TVs when they are likely to be smashed during a guest's temper tantrum, wrecked during a brawl, knocked over while guests are in the throes of passion or hate boinking, or even have bullets fired into them during the latest murder attempt? Instead, they probably cruise the streets of Salem looking for old sets that have been left at the curb, fix them up a bit, and then stick them in the rooms.

Cannot begin to tell you how it has bugged me continually that there are never any TVs in any of the homes, Salem Inn rooms, etc. WAs great to see Chad had one in his, even if he then went to his tablet to read whatever.
