I read the interview with Greg Vaughan (Eric). Seems he, too, has been unhappy with Days, with the promises made to him & then broken, & first considered leaving,.......or not signing a contract again a couple years ago. He said he only signed yearly ones, & made sure he had a clause allowing him to work on other projects if off the show. He really loves Days, is not closing the door, but just felt that .......they were not using Eric, or Eric/Nicole well at all. He has now moved to North Carolina, with fiancee' Angie Harmon, her 3 daughters, his 3 sons. (& they never once referred to Brady Bunch in the article, lol) He said he told the show last fall, his last filming was in November. In the past, when they let him go, they really talked up a storm to get him back, & told of Carlivati coming on board, new head writer. He was told he'd have input, talk to the writer about story, direction, etc. Never happened. He went with what came down, but was increasingly disappointed. When he finally "left", he was getting calls, Corday, Meng, Alarr......but his mind was made up.
